Keys received. In one piece and not destroyed by the post office. Which is awesome.

Menu key turned out a bit wonky, but it will do what it is supposed to do... nothing much, really.

If you must know, key profile from SP is actually the closest you can get to the Cherry key profile. Most of the other ones you see on the market are a lot taller (higher) than the profile used by Cherry. Hope saying so will make you feel a bit better about your purchase.

The enter keys is wrong profile, any I understand that there are replacements ordered?

Did we have to pay for replacement? Am I getting a new enter key?

EDIT: Just remembered that there was two keys in the package, is there a wrong and a right profile one? I'll see when I get back home.

Yes. One is the fixed, the other is the wrong profile. Compare your backspace to the enter key if you are uncertain as to which is which.

hashbaz, by the way, I kind of missed the whole thing about the center stemmed caps lock keys being faulty, so I just wanted to confirm: will my money be contributed to the Cherry font project?
I guess I could ask for a refund here, but I feel it's waaaay better to let you use it for something good instead.

I just wanted to say 'thank you' for this well done gb and that i recieved my keys.
Also i wanted to add, if people are new to this site and participate in gbs it is their duty to inform themselves about signature plastics and whatever else there is to know about the the gb before they join it.
Though there is no denying sp keys really lack a bit in quality compared to their cherry counterparts but then again there is nothing better (that i know of) for a reasonable price and i dont dislike the current moogle at all.

I'm looking at a NIB white Cherry set now and the grey is pretty close (much closer than your pictures look). YMMV of course. Yellowing can be an issue.

there is a slight difference but it is not that noticeable unless you are photographing it. the moogle keys are a bit... browner*.

I got mine. Dolch kit looks great. Normal shipment to JAPAN took 10days, not bad.

I heard Taobao sellers sometimes use hydrogen peroxide to whiten yellowed keys. It is possible that original modifier keys colors may have lost its brownish color during the process.

By the way, the keys in my NIB G80-3700 matches pretty nicely with SP PBT color GDL. I don't have any SP abs modifiers to compare with Cherry original though.

Quick update. I know things have been moving very slowly for those whose orders haven't shipped yet. I apologize for that. I haven't forgotten and I haven't been slacking off. Some unexpected complications at home have made my time in the evenings very limited.

Also, I ended up with 3x enter keys.. only one of which appears to have the correct profile..

First time i have been able to us Sig Plastics profile.. its not the worst in the world.. probably best for boards.. that have feet (not the poker).. so you can raise it up some.

Space bar is a bit bitey.. as others have said.. but they fit onto my cherry stabilizers nicely and feel really good when on. i guess, I can live with the angle.. as these will prolly end up on my filco ( with feet!)

Saw this interesting gif this morning posted by limmy.

The comparison is not quite 1:1 since the SP caps are more angled than the Cherries, so the legends are tilted back more. And I definitely prefer the moogle Win and Menu keys.

Ok, all the orders that combined with Red Cherry have been packed and will ship tomorrow morning.

The meager number of extras will go on sale soon. I have fewer than 10 extra base kits of each color. There are more fullmod kits, but still fewer than 20 of each.

Any ideas on how to fairly offload these? The extras for my RGBY group buy (around 20 sets) were snapped up in less than an hour. I don't really want to do that again.
