I guess when you know the guy you don't have to wait for the stepped caps to be fixed for everyone else before you get your keys =). I'm a pretty mellow geekhacker, but that stuff annoys the hell out of me. Send me my keys already. Keep the stepped caps lock.

It's not the stepped capslock that was the issue but the normal (center stemmed, non-stepped) capslock. The print/lock on the non-stepped capslock was crooked so it is being redone.

It's best to just accept that you will get things when you get them with group buys. There's a lot of factors involved, and it's usually just one person trying to sort out and ship a buttload of orders. So patience needs to be had.

how about the fact that his paypal is locked and he needs a certain amount of orders shipped already for them to unlock it?

you don't expect him to go out of pocket simply because you want yours today, right?

easier to ship within the US (which is where the GHers that have gotten them are at) then to wait for it to go to norway and paypal sees the the packaged arrived safely.

but no, please continue to complain how tsangan has favorites.

:/ i'm not saying "don't participate, or question anything", but a) tsangan's made it clear that he's waiting for the fixed parts before shipping orders and b) just because he may possibly have made a single exception doesn't mean you're in the right to publicly complain about his behavior.

i mean seriously; i'm going to go on a rant here for a second and i apologize if i offend anyone and i'm not acting as a moderator here etc etc but SERIOUSLY go back a few pages. tsangan conceived of and delivered on this set and then fronted 2 grand to complete the order when paypal froze his account. cut the guy some slack. you'll get your stuff, just give it a little time.

My keys are being shipped to my CONUS address actually, so you don't have a leg to stand on there. And you are telling me that tsangan randomly picked you guys to get the key caps because of the paypal lock? Not because you guys have a history? Come on.

Enjoy your key caps. I am going to enjoy them when I get them in the mail. No more complaining. The regular caps lock needs to be replaced and tsangan's paypal is locked until he can prove at least 15 shipped items or something. Got it.

I really think Tsangan only sent the sets to TWO people, myself and Reaper. Reaper met up with Demik and delivered his to him. I only got mine because Tsangan had to ship me something else (we traded CC skulls), anyway, and I told him I really didn't care if I ever got a corrected caps lock. So I convinced him to ship them with the skull.

Please don't be upset with me or Tsangan, Glissant. I only asked Tsangan to do it because he was shipping the skull to me, anyway.

I'm not upset with either of you, jdcarpe. That's not at all what I am trying to say. I might have come off as harsh in my first post that sort of demanded my keys, but all I was saying was that I didn't care about the stepped caps lock, and that I would like my keys sent if at all possible. Long couple of weeks so I was short and snappy.
I don't want special treatment, but I don't like to hear bull**** reasons for why some people got their set before others. Just be honest and we will all get along.

Anyway. I've had enough of getting on people's nerves today. Take it easy, and have a nice weekend =).

So true, everyone should relax. I paid up front like everyone else, but this is Tsangan were talking about he's not gonna run-away with our money anytime soon.

I was happy to hand over the money mainly because of his name and rep and I still see no problems with that. Paypal has done the nasty on him, and everyone should know Paypal, quick to bill slow to release. Paypal will sit on this as long as they like. So if your money has been swallowed up by Paypal you can't blame Tsangan. I also realize that maybe Group Buys are no longer viable, when the BIGGEST ball crushers being Paypal are stealing people's money, simply because they can.

I would wait for another 2 months people, because you know who we're dealing with here, and poor Tsangan is held hostage by those nasty so-and-so's.

Plus I trust Tsangan 100% to eventually sort this Paypal mess out. If you have never dealt with Paypal when issues arise then you will never know the pain and absolute uselessness when it comes to dealing with them. If I truly hated anyone here on this Forum, I still wouldn't throw them on to Paypal's bad-side.........that would be so inhumanly cruel.

Hey reaper or jdcarpe, do either one of you have a white Filco that you can put them on to help some of us decide which color Filco to buy? I'm looking to buy one of the new Filco reds and can't really tell which one the caps would look better on. If it's not too much to ask!

Imo, the Cream Cheese set looks better on a black board. Tried it on white and didn't like it but that's just me, of course. =P

Yeah, they look pretty great on a black board but I have it pictured in my head as more matching on a white Filco because Filco's white is quite cream. I'll just have to wait until tomorrow!
