OK, one complaint. Layout is PERFECT, but this character -> "ž" is way out of the normal slovenian layout. This will take some serious time to get used to, actually. Luckily I do 99% of my work in English but I do have to write my phd in slovenian so dayumn...

Also, can somebody tell me how I should set this baby up so my backspace would have delete under FN? Right now it's backspace all the time and I can't see the DIP settings to make it alt from backspace to delete?

Switch 3 I believe, Also I use Autohotkey

That's what I thought as well, but it isn't working. Previous reply said it's not possible. Oh well, it's not a big issue.

Did you unplug and replug the keyboard after changing the switch?  Apparently it does not work if you just flick a switch while the keyboard stays connected to the computer.

I'm gonna need a stronger Esc key spring in this Das... ;D

Either way looks fantastic!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Cool, another Wisconsinite!  Good thing you picked those up, we're supposed to get quite a bit of snow this weekend!   :p

Didn't get it in the mail, but I wanted to share it nonetheless.

I found it for a good price at a local swap meet/flea market/giant garage sale type thing.  The $200+ prices on eBay and Craigslist were a little daunting.  Now I just have to set it up and I can start casting translucent caps and get rid of the bubbles in some of my other designs.

It looks scary...  I hope you'll be  very careful with it!

I definitely will be.  The last thing I want to do is kill myself with it.  I'll be doing incremental pressure increases and will see if I can do them from a distance.  I plan on starting with 20-30 PSI and seeing if there are any leaks anywhere.  From there, I'll do 5-10 PSI increases up to 65 or 70 PSI (max safe for the pot is 80 PSI) and see how it holds up.  Most my casting should be in the 45-70 PSI range, depending on the casting material.

And so it begins-

Well, it had been going, but now I can finally do some good and proper casting and should be getting higher quality caps out of it.  It will also let me make some acrylic pen blanks and stabilized blanks for cheaper too.  I've been doing some pens for a while, but have avoided acrylic/resin due to cost.

I got an early present today, a rather cool board came called Twilight Struggle. Fortunately nothing to do with glittery vampires at all.

And some cheap Draper storage boxes (4 for £10 posted) to stick keys and other junk in. The two small boxes each hold a couple of Taihao sets without spacebars, and then theres two double that size in the set.

lol, that's exactly what i said. the manufacturer is high quality though; i suspect it only looks scary because the previous owners just didn't care to clean it all that often (ie, ever ;)). it'll probably look pretty darn sweet after a good clean and coat.

Whoah!!  Those are pretty cool.  The red one shall be named "the bubble man" or alternatively "strawberry jelly man".  It looks like you can eat it.  I like the translucent teal.

Not really, not yet. Those were, OMG, what monstrosities are these?!?!? caps that I gave away in the free stuff thread.  Now that I have a pressure pot, I should be able to make some good translucents.

Good to see those made it to you already rowdy.  The post is killing it.

The post is killing it.

You're not kidding. I was sitting around watching football yesterday when I got a knock on the door, it was the Australia Post man with my SSK! Don't think I've EVER had a parcel delivered on a weekend before, they must be stepping up for Christmas.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Heh yeah :)

The red one looks like a couple of little bits were snapped off the underneath - there are two shiny smooth curved bits whereas the rest of it is all bubbly.  Nothing rattling around loose in the bag.

The Cyclops one is a really deep aqua.

Both are resisting my attempts to take good photos :))

Sweet :)

What kinda surprised me is that they both fit on a MX switch easily!  Not tight, not loose, a perfect fit.
