In the first:
Hack Orange MXThe_Beast switch toolI just took some switches apart with this thing, and holy **** does it blow my binder clip tool out of the water!
Mystery gifts!!!
In the second:
100 Cherry MX White switchesHonestly, I'm a little disappointed with these
. Out of 100, only 46 click consistently. More than half of them have a dampened or nonexistent click. I knew when buying these that the defect rate of whites was significantly higher than the other switches, but I was assuming it was somewhere in the single-digit percent range… not more than half! I don't want to derail this thread by asking questions here, but I'll definitely be posting in the Q&A thread for others' experiences.
Edit: I've since learned that the 46 switches with a distinct click are the "defects," and that the dampened click ones are what whites should sound like. That leaves me with basically the same numbers, but in a better mood because the harder-clicking ones might be fixed with lube.
