The Powermate is awesome, so far I'm just using it for volume control. I was using AHK with Ctrl+PgUp and PgDn for volume, but this is much nicer. It also looks great and the blue LED matches my Filco tenkey and my Nixie tube clock:

Really? That's awesome. Even the Artisan Hien Hard in Small? I love it so far, coming from a plain generic mousepad.

Arrived a few days ago but I only got a chance to pick it up today, got a package from GON.

2 x 60% plates (matte purple/red)
90 x MX Clears
2 x Cherry Stabs

Now I just need my case and PCB and I'm good to go.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I received a pair of acrylic Cherry MX mounting-plates that I had ordered from Ponoko / Vectorealism.
I have waited two months for them ... and while the actual cutting service is not that expensive, they had only one option for shipping from Italy, UPS courier, which in Europe is very expensive.

I got a message on the 23rd that the package was shipped. At last, the plates arrived at my door this morning.
Hmm.. they reek of burnt plastic. The transparent acrylic has black edges.
WHAT THE HELL, THEY ARE IN THE WRONG SCALE! The mounting holes are 19 mm across, not 14 mm.
I rechecked my blueprint and found that the blueprint was correct. The bastards have scaled my design up!

Oh, I get so angry. I have already overpaid and overwaited for this crap, and when I receive the result it is worthless crap that reeks too much to be stored indoors.

How well is the fit (body & stem) on those Clear tops compared to the Cherry OEM?

They fit very well, but the inside of the covers is slightly tighter than the regular black Cherry tops, so they do add some friction.

Got my Royal Alpha PCB and caps in the mail today.  It took forever, but they finally came.  They're some sexy dyesubs and doubleshots (only the green caps and sliders on the side are doubleshot).  Interestingly, some of the caps give their size on the underside.  For example, the Lock cap says 1 3/4 x1 C on the bottom, Tab says D 1 1/2 x 1, and Repeat says 1 1/2 x1 C on the bottom.

The PCB has vintage black MYs on it. They're surprisingly decent feeling.  The spring almost is like a Clear, lighter at the top and heavier and springier at the bottom.  The throw is short, but if you're good at floating, they could actually make for some nice switches, IMO, thought they are much more wobbly than Cherry MX switches.

Doubleshot Code and Word Backspace coupled with my GMK caps from EK and Ivan's GB:
