It has a good amount of clearcoat, you'll be fine.

Nah, the problem of the century lies with the Filco, which seems to have a very tight opening for the Esc slot.

My wire pullers cant even reach the bottom of the cap

The technology they seem to shout about is readly avaliable in other lenses that fit better quality (and looking (though thats a prefrence)) frames...

Oh Ok, I wondered about that. In Australia you just get a small rectangular card with the date and time of delivery on it, and where you can collect the parcel. At least that's all I usually get.
