Its gorgeous You must be super excited. I really need to find an easy/beginner DIY custom to cut my teeth on any ideas?
winkeyless.kr/en for sure... so many choices and pretty affordable as far as Korean customs go.

Otherwise, the Duck Orion V2 and the TX87 are both coming soon-ish so you might want to keep your eyes peeled for those two GBs.
The duck orion is the tkl right. I believe punks was mentioning that he was excited about it I'll check that out guys is there an IC right now ?
Looking for Black KMAC 2 or KMAC LE Preferably unbuilt kit but will consider an assembled board with clears Please PM me if you can help 8) Always on the lookout for KBK/KWK Bro Reapers,V2s and Clack factory skulls have lots of caps for trade

I got a Logitech DiNovo without the base station. It has the nicest scissor switches, I think, with ~3 mm key travel. The idea is to rebuild it into a smaller keyboard with USB.

If you hurry, you might be able to snag one of Cindys still. She has them up for sale off of the list now, because I don't think many people responded to her when she PM'd them.

http://www.elecshopper.com/ibm-1391472-space-saving-keyboard-used.html

I pointed Apocalypsemaow to this link earlier today, and he purchased one. She has them up for $75 + shipping, which is a steal if you ask me. Just don't expect it to be perfect.

It is dirty, just not that dirty looking at the top. Underneath, the barrel plate is totally filthy (like a good centimetre of dust and gross stuff), and the sides of the caps look disgusting. It also has a few sticky stabilizers, a broken spacebar, and it needs a bolt mod. Nothing that can't be fixed though!  ;D

And thanks, I have had a few good mail days this week.  :thumb:

When it comes to packing these properly, idiots abound. Buyer beware and always insist that seller double-box in a sturdy outer box with plenty of large-diameter bubble wrap for cushioning. Here's what I received a while back, due to absolutely retarded packing:

Looks like you really lucked out, considering that there was only one thin layer of corrugated cardboard between the underside of the keyboard and the (sometimes brutal) outside world. I can't imagine IBM ever shipping them exactly that way, i.e., without a heavier outer box.

Yep.  It turned out just fine.  In case you are wondering about around the ESC key, there was just bits of box and fluff from inside the box including the damaged styrofoam in the corner which I taped back into place.  Keyboard is 100% fine.

100%.  All rivets are intact and the keyboard is solid.

Awesome! My Model M came with no broken rivets, too.

Have you considered bolt modding it anyway?

I have tried a bolt mod myself, and ended up with a broken keyboard and several other broken parts.

I have had several already done by Phosphorglow.  The ones I send to him are ones that actually do have to be done.  The exception (ironically) was my SSK.  All he had to do on that was the keyboard underlay and the LED mod.  If I need it done, I will definitely go to him to do it.  He is a very meticulous person, and does it right.
Bolt modding is only necessary if the keyboard actually needs it.  That's the way I look at it.  Enjoy and use the keyboard until you actually need it done!
