Really excited my silver 60% aluminum case came today. I was pretty excited when I saw that it was in new condition as I bought it off mechmarket and only paid $85 shipped so I was a little skeptical but its brand spanking new  ;) (sometimes humanity surprises you and restores a LITTLE faith) swapping my board over after I go to subway because I'm starving !

I know I should have saved the cash from subway and put it towards a camera right lol seriously thought cringe whenever I see photos from my iPad . I did however just recently purchase a Nikon dslr for pretty cheap and should have it in the 7-10 days so my pictures should look much better soon! Again sorry for the horrible photos   :(

This lol I was just thinking to myself what I would do in your situation. I guess the question really is what does your mailbox look like and is it your property?

Ya those things are freaking diesel I know from experience. When I was in my teens I was broke and lost my mailbox key and my tax check was delivered and I went full on teenage assault on that mofo ( needed beer money lol) sadly my adolescent angst was spent the mailbox was still locked and the manager of my apartment building was pissed not to mention my parents and I really needed a beer. Moral of this story I'm not sure but I good luck I can feel your frustration all the way in Vermont .

Just WOW at this perfect bingecap. Thanks for sharing!

Being colored like that, it really accentuates the details I haven't noticed before, fleshed out like a character from Blizzard lore (at least in my eyes).

I got some things during the week.

First up some Model M keycaps, working towards having a full set on my second full sized Model M:

95544-0

Then my first KRAP:

95546-1

And finally something I've been waiting for for a very long time.  I think this was the first GB I joined.  [CTRL]ALT have come through completely on this, so toxic, exactly as imagined ever since the original IC all those years ago!

95548-2

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Unfortunately not.

In the sale pic it looks a much lighter green, but in reality is somewhat darker.  In bright light it is closer, but back indoors they are quite different colours.

It was actually SENT this way.

Oh god, brr. Reminds me of how my secondhand Code was shipped with no padding crammed into a FedEx Tube not actually wide enough for width or height and two times the length: http://www.iankunx.net/scarytube.jpg *shudder*

Thankfully our stories turned out the same, board was fine, just full retard on the packaging.

Yeah, I had this done to me a few times. Some people don't understand the value of original packaging, I guess :(

Cool soft carrying case from user trigun0x2! Potato pics for now

Did a pretty good job at colour matching. Looks better IRL

Guess what's in the bag?

Miami :o

It has a very nice front pouch for storing cables and stuff. Really well made and of course I love the colours. Thanks dude! Also I hear they will be available for purchase in the future.
