I would if I could but I'm too broke to shoot .45 :( Heck, I'm too broke to even shoot 9mm these day :'(

I've considered some of the mid level 1911's like the Remington R1 or Springfield Armory Range Officer but just too broke even for those ~ Maybe I'll go for the high value 1911's like Metro Arms, like you, or Rock Island in the future. They seem to be pretty solid.

I payed $425 used for mine, changed mag to a Wilson Combat piece, added some VZ GRIPS and she's worked like a charm. Only issue I've had is carbon buildup if I don't clean it after each range sesh.

Yeah dood. $425 + ~$120 upgrade sounds like a decent deal to get a 1911 running smooth. Wilson Combat mags go a long way, especially for 1911's, seeing that they are so damn sensitive much of the time.

What ammo are you using? The carbon build up from cheap Russian ammo?

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it! I have so much fun browsing with the Slimblade. You should definitely pick up the Slimblade for your significant other! I also have very small hands and the Slimblade is ergonomic in that everything is within your hand's reach. I never have to readjust my hands on it. The biggest feature imo is the scrolling feature where you swivel the ball around. It's seriously the most convenient way to scroll a webpage.

I got four Cherry PBT space bars, two beige and two charcoal, and some silicone balls. I am very impressed the beige ones matched my OG Cherry set very well.

I got four Cherry PBT space bars, two beige and two charcoal, and some silicone balls. I am very impressed the beige ones matched my OG Cherry set very well.
