Ahh, what the heck.  Who doesn't need a little cross-post in their life?  :3  After all, I was only able to complete this keyboard thanks to the tsangan set I just got in the mail.  ;)

Aside from my HHKB set, not currently. Although I already took the whole thing apart, made sure it was properly lubed/banded... you know, after I swapped all the Hi-Pro stems in, as it came lubed/banded already...

Its a custom board with MX clears. Paging SpAmRaY, as he knows more about the keypad than I do... I was just looking for something to put on my girl's desk when she does all the financial stuff.

How are you liking the 67g Zealios, and are they lubed? I have 62g Purple Zealios unlubed in my Orion, I really enjoy them but I'm tempted to try out 65g lubed Purple Zealios for my next build.

I like 'em!  I went un-lubed, because lubing switches is a huge pain and I'm lazy.  Plus, these are smooth enough that it's not required, thankfully (otherwise I would have lubed them, yes).

So thank you Zeal for enabling my laziness.

I did clip and lube the stabilizers though.

I'm rocking lubed 67g Zealios and they are tits. Feels very similar to 45g Topre, very poppy yet still light.

I've never lubed switches before because of long I heard it takes to do. I was sent a few samples with lubed and un-lubed versions, the un-lubed are definitely good by themselves but lubing them makes them super smooth. The only problem is justifying 4+ hours of lubing for a small increase of smoothness haha.

Custom orders from Retro and Krytone. In restrospect may not have been the best idea to take pictures on such a distracting background.
The picture really doesn't do retro's cap justice, the level of detail is amazing, feels a lot like a binge in terms of sculpting quality.
The krap came out a bit better in the shot, but I should note how awesome it looks as well. The blue-ish color is very subtle and the black pops.

Merry Christmas to meeee! My grail keyset since day one :o

(Attachment Link)

It is a very nice set, congratulations.

I got four Cherry PBT space bars, two beige and two charcoal, and some silicone balls. I am very impressed the beige ones matched my OG Cherry set very well.

Show Image

Where do you get them Cherry PBT space bars? Are they only after-market?

http://imsto.cn/index.php?route=product/product&path=59&product_id=99

Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. So those are Cherry height, then? Does imsto do only Cherry profile?

I think so, their texture is great and I suppose it would not get uneven shine as the original ABS does.

45 minutes??  It would take me about half that long to even get the switches opened up and ready for lubage.

Yeah the problem with MX is having to open up each switch. Even more time is added if you want to add sip sockets, LEDs, springs, etc. I finally got a switch opener so I'm curious to see how much time it saves me.

Those are very nice indeed! :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

You two are sloowwww. Or maybe I don't do a careful enough of a job

If you can find one of sprit's switch holders those will also save a considerable amount of time as well.

This is just strictly the process of lubing. Not leds/sockets :P

Those are beautiful keys.  Very jelly.
60% keyboards, 100% of the time.

XD

Hebrew legends are definitely funky. I'm still eager to get that APC board with Hebrew caps (courtesy of Bromono) though.

I've seen some Alps boards with Greek legends that are pretty cool. I think my favorite overall are probably Chinese legends.

But hey, screw all that if you actually need to use the alt legends for their intended purpose! If so, then by all means use that Hebrew!
