I must say I was pretty pumped to get this package from Bro, audibly giddy even. I think the new designs and colorways from the Monster Mash sale were killer so I was extremely

happy to win several. On top of what would have been an amazing mail day already, Bro threw in 'something extra' and totally made my day week. I didn't think the

Bloodshot V2 (Booper's(thanks for the loan <3)) would ever leave the escape key of my IBM SSK, but this BS Grumpkin might have to hold the throne from now on. The Lycan also

matches my HHKB's theme perfectly, which is great because it is my daily driver. All of the keys are technically impeccable, the details are sharp and meaningful, and the colors are

vibrant and well chosen. I couldn't be happier or say enough nice. Everything looks even better in real life than the pictures can do justice.

Oh ok! I'll keep that in mind. Even though it's topre, it has such a different feel and sound to the HHKB that a part of me wonders if they're even the same switch but I like it all the same.

I think that is a CNC acrylic case from a friend of LeandreN's known as Dulphin AFAIK. They look to be really high quality! When funds aren't so tight, I'll be looking for one. :)

I'm not sure if Dulphin makes his own cases but it's a little strange that his case is a near carbon copy of this one. I went through his posts and he never actually said he's the one who produces them, just that he was making a group buy for those cases. The pictures from the listing I got mine from looks identical to his (same style of USB cutout, same feet installed), although the resolution is too low to see CNC lines. Mine does not have CNC lines and has the feet holes aside from a few very slightly different features.

My main curiosity is if the supplier is one and the same between the MassDrop cases and the ones without the screw-mounted feet. The variation that ends up being similar to both of the aforementioned cases is just really weird to me.

UHhh... so this is embarassing. Turns out the one I actually got (proxied by romevi) is not the same as the listing I've been posting about in this thread. I guess there are simply two very slightly different acrylic case makers out of China. I had a bookmarked link to the one I've been posting about but forgot that I found a cheaper one, which I had proxied.

Soo basically you can probably ignore everything I've said, except that I'm still fairly certain that Dulphin's cases are sourced from China.

Makes all the sense. Thanks for the clarification. Yeah, I agree that Dulphin's cases are likely sourced from the same place, but the fact you imply that they were the more expensive option can vie a bit for their quality, which is good to hear!
