Mashby lives over the river and through the hood in East Nashville, rides a fixey, has a beard, drinks PBR and loves turtlenecks ........... did I nail it down

That's why he and I are so tight. He's a hipster. I'm a hipster. It's a hipsterlicious bromance

Not too shabby bro!

My office is in East Nasty. I live in Antioch
I ride an old school 80's steel touring bicycle with front and rear racks, leather brooks saddle.
No beard, but I do wet shave
Don't drink PRB. More of a Sierra if it's beer, but prefer wine and hard liquor
I do like turtlenecks, but I'm more of un-tucked dress shirt and jeans kind of guy.

That being said, the more time I spend out in East Nashville, the more it's starting to wear off on me.  :p

It's a perfect relationship! He orders a scotch and soda and gives me his scotch since he just drinks soda.

I also get all his chocolate ice cream.

Got the new Raspberry Pi Model B+

I thought this was a minor revision, since they just call it the B+, but this is a complete hardware redesign!

I've been wanting one of those for a long time, but I cannot think of anything I could do with it.

Let us know how you end up using it :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

What can I say? I like to drink and I like ice from time-to-time with my Scotch, Tequila, or Bourbon and when I saw that Studio Neat was doing an Ice Kit on Kickstarter last year, I couldn't resist.

Can't wait to try this thing out tomorrow!

I almost bought that one too...then I made my own homebrew setup and came up with some pretty great results:

Silicone 1" cube trays placed in a small insulated cooler that is filled with water.  The tray needs to be flush with the surface of the water, and left in the freezer for a good 48 hours.

Setup takes 2 minutes, but chiseling the trays out of the larger block takes 5-10 min of effort.  Once the tray is free, you can put it back in the freezer and use as you need.

^^^ Good alps are as good as Topre. I love me some Alps (especially of the green variety), but nothing will be replacing Topre for me.

Indeed!  Apparently despite the mess in my dad's office, all of his antique computer gear is in pretty decent shape.   :))

Unfortunately three of the switches need to be replaced.  :(  And it's got a plate, so that complicates it a tiny bit.  Oh well!  Some fun work to do to get it running.  :)

Now I need to learn a ton of stuff and figure out how to make this do something...
