Apple M0116 with orange alps. Orange Alps, the new salmon alps. =P

Orange Alps are so in right now.

And damn, they made my Kingsaver choice so hard.  I can't decide between Orange Alps and Green Alps.  The tactile Green are fun, but I don't think I want them in the Kingsaver.

If I had a second Kingsaver, I think I'd put Orange Alps in it. :D

This is my ADT-1 (Android TV Development Kit)

It's really awesome. It has to wait two more weeks though, since I'm not down south with my television just yet, but that doesn't mean my nerdgasm isn't profound over this thing!

Where did you get that? Limited sign ups?
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Yeah. I had signed up when I first heard of the platform, put in what I'd want one for, and viola.

He was easily the most stable and necessary character in the show. Without him, pretty much everyone would have died. Him and Daryl were the only ones that didn't get weird.

I think I'd want Rick to die, but they all annoy me at this point. I stopped watching after the season they holed up in the prison.  It just became formulaic and the characters became one dimensional.

I don't know man, what about Carl? I'm getting awfully tired of his rebellious attitude lately, I never really minded Hershel all that much.

Carl always ****s it up for everyone. 'Carl. Stay here, and whatever you do DON'T light everything on fire and attract a bunch of walkers.' "You got it dad!'
Rick walks away as Carl immediately starts dumping gasoline everywhere and disabling the security fence.

Huge shout out to MythicalWagyu!!  He helped me get some BingeCaps from the sale that I had to miss during KeyCon, and he was even kind enough to throw in a beer too! :D  We've been posting quite a bit in the beer thread, so I guess he took the hint that I like beer.  ;)

Many thanks, MythicalWagyu!  I love the caps and the beer.   :-*

Technically I got this yesterday and it's ComradeSniper's, not mine since I haven't figured out which switches I want to use in mine, but here's one built up Kingsaver.  I'll post mine once I decide on linear Greens or Oranges (I'm leaning toward Orange) and if I want a locking switch (if the Kingsaver supports one) or something else for my Caps Lock.

I'm still trying to figure out the LED situation and the one I built for him is missing a stabilizer wire since he didn't send the Wang on to me, but it's still there in most of its glory.  Depending on what he wants, I may swap the Yellow slider out for Blue and just make it a linear Blue by not using the leaf.

I also realized after I took the shots that the case was slightly off in alignment.  I loosened the screws and fixed that, I just didn't photograph it.

Also not photographed is two internal mods.  On the interior of the case is shelf liner cut roughly to size and shape.  I also cut rubber washers to size and installed them between the feet and case.  It makes it a little taller, but also helps prevent scratches.

I like the way that the old and the new work so well together :)

Me too.  They're solid boards and I do love Alps.  I'm always sad there's not more Alps love out there.  I'm sure ComradeSniper will love it and I know I will once I decide and get mine built up.

And I just realized, I may not actually have enough Orange Alps

Just counted and I'm 2-4 Orange Alps short, depending on if I use a Green and/or locking Alps on my Caps and Scroll Locks. :(

Totally stoked about the Kingsaver, it'll be my first Korean custom. Can't wait to try it out!

Nubs, I've got some spare orange alps. I can get them shipped out to you on Monday if you'd like :)

You'll love it, I'm sure.  It feels super solid and is sexy as hell.  Blues are a little inconsistent, but I tried to put the consistent and similar sounding ones in the most commonly used places and weeded out the not super clicky ones.  You could probably make them more consistent by popping them open and adjusting the leaves a little.

Hopefully we get the LED issue sorted out so I can get it in the mail to you.

Intelli just offered some as well.  Since those are for a Kingsaver and I want to make sure there are some extras, I'll take you up on your offer. If you can spare a couple more than 4, that would be awesome, just to make sure I don't get any bad ones.  Thanks so much for that.

Be sure to update the firmware as there was an LED issue solved by the newer firmware.

Nice build! Jealous of ComradeSniper.

My wife I a also push her button . But now she have her button push by a different men. So I buy a keyboard a mechanicale, she a reliable like a Fiat.

Also, I <3 your photography background.

Be sure to update the firmware as there was an LED issue solved by the newer firmware.

Is that why the LEDs won't light up at all?  And do you have a link for the firmware update?

Also, do you know which side is the anode and which side is the cathode on the PCB?  The PCB isn't marked.

Also, I <3 your photography background.

Thanks.  I've actually been waiting for HipsterPunks to say he wants it.  Maybe it's too bright for him since it's purple.

1. HHKB/60% travel case from intelli
2. HHKB Pro2

Couldn't pass on the Topres any longer...

<<The Poker is my old travel board. It just got replaced.>>

One of us now :))

But ... is that a really bad photo, a really dirty case, or a beige HHKB?

Super potato. :P

This.  Horrible picture from a horrible camera on a phone.

And it's just the standard white printed caps from an HHKB on a black body.

Yay glad they made it to you safe and sound! I was actually going to throw in another local brew from Belching Beaver but I got scared something would break/leak along the way and the caps would get confiscated along with the package so I wussed out  :p hopefully I sent something local you might not be able to get, maybe there will be more beermail in the future

Well, I don't live in Montreal so they should be safer! Took a ride today and the bike feels amazing. My first bike in 20 years, I now realise what I have missed for so long!

Nice.  Ya I have a 15 year old Allez Pro and I have tricked it out with a whole bunch of shimano gear.  It is a lot of fun to ride a nice bike.  My current place is right next to an awesome bike path.  Not sure about the new place yet.  Still need to learn that neighborhood a bit...

Got this headless Hershel, and the zombie was sent to me from a geekhack bro a while back :)

Show Image

Hershel is quite easily the most annoying character on the walking dead....so glad when he died.

Spoilers blah blah blah.... it's the walking dead...everyone dies ffs.

He was easily the most stable and necessary character in the show. Without him, pretty much everyone would have died. Him and Daryl were the only ones that didn't get weird.

Oh we all know who got REAALLY weird.

The amazing LZ-FE that I've been waiting for the last year and a bit. Worth the wait since GON assembled it.
