Got a RF87UB55 today (Bro not included  ). I think I like Topre but it's not nearly as tactile as I expected it to be. It feels kind of mushy. One thing I seriously love is the thock noises it makes. I'm just not sold on cup rubber. If I could find something with the tactile feeling of MX Clears and the thock sound of Topre that would be pretty amazing.

Feels very good to type on and the 60% format is growing on me. New daily driver.




Picture quality not so great due to bad lighting and cheap camera, the green is really minty green, it is nice to see.

Thanks man! I edited my post to include the test pictures of the LEDs drhubblephd sent me. Those are solid pictures but I'll get better pictures later. And thanks again for helping me figure out the LED controls on this board .

I thought someone would be interested in Varmilo caps, hence the photo. They're decently thick, they feel nice and look nice. I am glad I chose the Varmilo caps on it and even gladder that there's no branding on the spacebar.

Yup, unfortunately there's not much of a difference but it's still really cool. I love how the board looks. I've currently got it setup in a lighting mode where the more WPM I've got while typing, the more the lights glow. It's a really cool effect.
