You can't be too careful. It could have easily been an LSD laced sticker.

hm, i want to party with both of you now.

I'm game for this

Yeah I figured they were sniffing for drugs but dam how much LSD can you soak into one metallic sticker. At most me and my wife and some other guy could of had a great night, but I'm pretty sure the penalty for what would only be a small amount is like a friendly tour/meet and greet at the police station and a dollar in the local fire brigades swear jar.

Yeah now that I have had a look at the baggy its in, I think they sliced it open to test it for drugs and then taped it back up.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I always think of customs opening a package with some caps or only one cap and thinking how or why this is being sent all over the world :) A complete keyboard OK, but just some caps? Or a sticker? A nice move though from them to put an envelope that it has been opened.

um maybe I'm wrong but I think that might be a little off. And I'm pretty sure it's just some hatsune miku variant (comes from a minute of googling and some vague knowledge :p)

Here's the page I found: http://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/3655/Nendoroid+Sakura+Miku.html. I guess I was wrong and the MSRP is $600 for 4, but still.

and I saw something about Hatsune Miku, I just didn't know who that was either or if this was the same character because of the hair color. Looks like it's a Japanese version of the Gorillaz (as in cartoon representation of music artists). Is she popular in Japan?

Sorry for the crappy quality, it was done on my iphone as it is the only recording device I have.  Also trying to figure out how to properly embed a youtube video.  The process sucks.

I'm confused on how that made the keyboard more clicky.

I'm confused on how that made the keyboard more clicky.

It made the keyboard's solenoid activate so there's a little beeper that fires and beeps every time he presses a switch. I need to do that on my 4074 62key.

Also trying to figure out how to properly embed a youtube video.  The process sucks.

Ahh sry I should have clarified.  That is a xwhatsit solenoid driver.  It connects the USB controller board to the solenoid witch generates a click when a key is pressed.

I think these originally cost like $40ish each? I got this for £20 in the UK but yeah I don't know all the much about the actual character (Far as I understand it she is a programme created by Sony, that samples peoples voices, and people make music out of it?) I just like the look of the nendoroids :p and this one looked rather cute so I want and I got :3

I dont think I'm gonna get that since I've just received the vortex cherry blank set (it's awesome!)
But I have two keyboards coming with keyset already planned out for them as well , also joining the Miami nights
while waiting for Hyperfuse to done

Gee I spent way to much this year for keyboards stuff, but aren't we all?

Sorry for the crappy quality, it was done on my iphone as it is the only recording device I have.  Also trying to figure out how to properly embed a youtube video.  The process sucks.
Jesus sounds like a machine gun. You definitely cannot bring it to work haha. :)

That's what you think.  I'm totally using this at work right now.  (currently have the solenoid disabled).

I will only turn it on when I need to look super busy/important lol.

I have no idea who the girl is so I googled her and I still have no idea... but I think I found the figurine and the MSRP was $600!  I had no idea those things where so expensive.
um maybe I'm wrong but I think that might be a little off.

I think these originally cost like $40ish each? I got this for £20 in the UK but yeah I don't know all the much about the actual character (Far as I understand it she is a programme created by Sony, that samples peoples voices, and people make music out of it?) I just like the look of the nendoroids :p and this one looked rather cute so I want and I got :3
Yeah basically they had a program where you could sample vocals and stuff, but sales weren't very good so they invented this character to sort of be the voice of the whole thing. After that sales when crazy so they made all the other characters for different versions
