First off, I got my very first artisans ever! :D

I love them, I put them right onto my Ducky Shine 4 I love how they all look... but now I need moar. MOAR Artisans. Pink ones especially. Every time someone posts a picture of their pink Brobots, I cry a little bit out of jealousy hahaha.

And I got my custom leather journal cover from Oberon.. it's freaking beautiful!!

Still have a few more things coming. I also found myself REALLY close to buying a set of Miami Tai-hao keycaps today, but then I remembered how much money I spent lately.. and exited the page haha. One day.
That cover looks amazing!

The legendary jdcarpe made me some amazing notebooks for work. They've got a nice stiff cover and the paper is this textured fountain pen friendly stock. Pretty cool :D. Really digging the dot grid :D. Looking forward to seeing how they look with some wear and tear at work <3

Let me know when these are available! I'd love a couple, especially if their covers were adorned with maybe an understated little keyboard-related design.

I'll get it into my work notebook rotation ASAP. I'm half way through another field notes notebook and it usually takes about a month or two to get through one of those.

I understand, looking sick is 1/3 of the reason to buy a cool car (the other 2/3 being how it drives). I love taking the S2000 to parties.  :))
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

Hopefully ya'll get a shot to check out the Carpe Notes 'cause they're really cool. JD shipped em to me as a surprise so I had no idea I was getting them. Nor did I realize I was a beta tester.

Without knowing what that is (which I do) and without anything for a scale reference, one might be forgiven for thinking it was something you stuck in your mouth :))
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Got another classic V2 in the mail today from my dawg-

Topre Jellybean Red

and then next to a Slushy Red Esc (pretty close. in low light they're the same color but the slushy has more "sugar", in high light (?) slushy is more pink though)

They are communication and control boards (XBee and ATmega) for a mesh sensor array get live 2D data over an area.  The 20 pin is the ribbon cable connector that connects this unit to a bunch of gas sensors.  The end game is a unit that will not only put up an alarm when a gas leak occurs but also track the plume over a large area of land.  The sensors are going to be applied to a subterranean CO_2 and CH_4 storage area.

Got another classic V2 in the mail today from my dawg-

Topre Jellybean Red

and then next to a Slushy Red Esc (pretty close. in low light they're the same color but the slushy has more "sugar", in high light (?) slushy is more pink though)

I thought it looked as close as it can get from two different artisans  :thumb:

Forgot to include these in my other post. Have Heart albums and a t-shirt. Have Heart's The Things We Carry is the most important, was the most formative, and is my favorite hardcore album ever. Period.

Hopefully ya'll get a shot to check out the Carpe Notes 'cause they're really cool. JD shipped em to me as a surprise so I had no idea I was getting them. Nor did I realize I was a beta tester.

lol are these old or is some ******* repressing have heart onto tapes

edit: damn son B9 got you spennnnnndin. merchXcore

Yep!

Although ... the unit has 4 SATA cables coming out the back of it, but I don't think they plug in to anything.  That server does not have sufficient ports inside.

OTOH it has two PCI-X slots, one has a gigabit NIC in it, the other is vacant and the back plate is missing, so I'm guessing there previously was a 4 port SATA card in there.

Doesn't bother me, I have no 2.5" SATA drives spare anyway.

I don't get it. Not sure why I'm being judged for buying an album /shrug

HOLY **** HAVE HEART  :thumb:
The Things We Carry is most likely my favorite hardcore ever as well, just so damn good all around. Even the cover art is beautiful.

So many hardcore kids and metalheads on GH :D
