First foray into fountain pens since my college art days of actual dipped calligraphy pens. Used some old Calli ink, but I think it is too thick for the extra fine nib pen, need to pick up some better ink. Overall though, for about $5 total investment, I am happy.
Left is a Black Hero 9296 extra fine and right is a Stainless Baoer 335 medium nib. They both have a nice feel to them, but the Baoer has a much more substantial weight which I like.
Edit: And a quick update, I read up on the Calli ink and fount that even though it says it is for fountain pens, it is acrylic based and will clog the tip once dry and not be cleanable. I have now washed both out and will be ordering some correct ink.
