I waited til a few things arrived, but here's my very first haul since diving in to mechanical keyboards. I'll post the album and a few of my favorite shots.

Having seen these around some lately, and a bit more in the past, I decided it was time to get one made.

I have to say for anyone that is interested, it is top of the line quality.  I highly recommend brickengraver.com if you are considering any engraved legos.  He threw the SC lego in for free too.

Cool!! I'm not a collector myself but my dad is really into collecting silver coins (American and Canadian). My family are British and he caught the bug collecting quarters from each state when we first went on vacation to Florida. Now that his American silver dollar collection is getting quite complete, he started with Canadian coins (as that's where I currently live)  :thumb:
Thanks.  The British Britannia is what actually got me into silver coins.  After that I started wanting coins from everywhere else.

The jealousy is real!  Awesome cap, mobbo.

Might be cheating as it didn't arrive by mail, but I did pick up this 1958 Japanese 100 Yen coin.  I usually stick with bullion, but thought it looked nice.  Spent $3.00 and ended up getting the Kennedy half dollar in my change.  The Kennedy is a 1964 so it is made out of 90% silver, and therefore worth like $6.  Made my day.

Cool!  I met the brick engraver in person and got to see his machines at BrickFair 2009.  Really nice guy.  I got this made:

That's awesome man!  I thought about getting a custom minifig.  I'm sure I will get some more things from him in the future.

First keyboard purchase in 5 years!
I had forgotten what it's like to type on plate mounted topre.

Right now, I am stilll too used to the HHKB layout and my pinky automatically moves to the far right for the FN key.
But the FC660C feels sturdier and sounds quieter; seems to have less "attitude" than the HHKB haha.
Also realized I didn't really miss arrow keys  :))

How's the gourmet candy corn??

I imagine it's dog**** like every other candy corn but the "gourmet" has really piqued my interest. I'll try anything once.

Story time?

Haha, it WAS a story. But i can sum it up:  EMS gave the package to USPS for the local leg of the delivery. I checked my tracking number and it was signed for by "Neighbors last name", not sure why they let that happen, but i called up my neighbor on his cell and he said he didnt know about any package for me.

I had a panic moment, then Nickheller asked if his wife may have signed for it. So i called her, and she did. She left it on my back porch.

end of story.

Not as exciting as i thought lol.

Unexpected Rustler from codingcpa.  Codingcpa hit me up and asked me if I'd like their Rustler.  I stated I'd only take it if they were absolutely sure they wouldn't use it.  I guess some stuff happened behind the scenes and I was graciously gifted with this cap.

From the 25, 50, 75 cent ink sample sale the other day on Isellpens.... I REGRET NOTHING!

...Aside from not having room for any of these...

Do you anticipate actually using all that ink?

Also have you considered a spice rack for storage?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
