What's with the SDFC buttons having blue lights? Some ingenious reversed WASD?

Exactly! They are my movement keys for when I play Guild Wars.

Huh... Must be tried.

Not sure how it will work with other games, but in GW2 you use F1 - F4 and 1 - 0 by default, so it allows me to map the F-Keys to the top row (and layer) and bring the digits to Q - T + Z, X, V, and B. Makes it reachable without moving my hand around...

Courtesy of Flyersfan1, I get a chance to tinker with 60% boards with this Poker X. He also sent some Gateron switches that I'm very curious and excited about because I'd always wanted to try them out and now I can!

Yay!

Well my mail arrival doesn't compare to all that gold swag above, but my $40 TKL Lolita Spyder arrived today. Wanted to try out a TKL board before I invested in an expensive. Pleasantly surprised with the board though. Now to test out the layout.

I have a Lolita Spyder with the kailh browns and I quite like it. The layout has also been great because I rarely ever use the numpad so the TKL was a great jump. It's a fairly stable keyboard and for that price, it's awesome, especially if you're getting into TKL boards and want to try something out. Which switch did you get?

I got reds with it. I am going to use it for a gaming keyboard primarily. The legends on the stock key caps definitely leave a lot to be desired lol. So far though, I have nothing to complain about the board itself. About to hop into a game and take it for a spin.

Congrats man! I'm loving my 5x.

I preordered the 6p initially, but canceled for the smaller 5x. It's still bigger than the 5 was, but not nearly as large as the 6/6p.

You can use this stuff, like you would for PBT caps: http://www.amazon.com/Jacquard-iDye-Fabric-Dye-Violet-Polyester/dp/B001MUFIHC

I followed the instructions on the package and ended up with these:

Just got my Varmilo VA87M with Gateron clears from Massdrop. From a general smoothness perspective, these switches blow stock Cherry MX red and black out of the water. I am having trouble coping with how light they are. I ordered mine with white backlighting and it looks really nice against the standard caps. Speaking of the caps, these are some of the best stock ones I've ever used. I'd love to compare them to the ones on the Leopold FC750R, but I will say they're easily as good as those found on a Realforce or HHKB.

I plan to keep this board as backup to my BlackWidow at home, as I think these switches will work well for gaming. I don't think I'd recommend Gateron clears for typists unless you have an extremely light touch.
