It's an Olympia Traveller Deluxe. Every time I write a book,  I get a new machine to do it with. I have quite a few around the house actually, was into Typewriters long before keyboards. These are actually quite good and can often be found very clean for under $150  :thumb:

I would very much like to see this. I've only been able to type on one typewriter in my life. It was old and not well-maintained, so I had to type very slow on it.

How do those roll? They look so pretty but some people were saying the sharper edges and the weight makes them not roll so well.

Don't know anything about weight, but don't sharper edges make it better and randomization?

The weight would increase the amount of force necessary per rotation of the dice. I've used metal dice before and I wouldn't use them for rolling. I guess they are easier to keep on the table but you need a lot of force to feel like you're rolling much.

They roll better than I thought they would. The d4 & d6 are the only two don't roll as much as I'd like (but the d4 never does). I rolled them on a mousepad and that really helped. I'll probably use that if necessary.

The d4 never really made sense to me.
A d8 with repeated numbers would be so much more practical.

Have you tried the variation of the d4 that is more rectangular? They are a little bit better for rolling, but I don't really care for the feel.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
