Some of the best packaging I have ever seen. The shipper also adding in the tea was an unexpected and awesome touch.

Your KMAC is a chicken? Paltry is the word you were looking for perhaps?
356mini is nice, but I am looking forward to the GH60, which I think will be even better. So not too jealous.

honestly?

the 356mini is so finicky it's incredibly over hyped.

i think the best thing about the board is just the case.

if you just so much connect the 356mini wrong, it breaks it.

trust me, mine is sitting in my closet broken.

All KMAC's use Aikon, I believe. I think you just got a bad chip, or maybe you plugged it into USB when it's PS/2? I dunno. That might have fried it if it was a powered USB port.

EDIT: Looks like kmini uses Atmel controller? At least that's what the chip says on it.

im almost certain KMACs aren't using Aikon due to how finicky the controller is.

but im not going to open up my board to check so meh.

Whatever is in the MXMini (I believed it was an Aikon) doesn't seem to work too well in OSX (ghosting) but seems fine in Linux/Win7...

Demik, can't you just use the utility to check if it is Aikon?

Got my QFR at work yesterday and installed some blank Ducky PBT's. It's louder and a bit "grittier" than my DKS2 is, but I think that's cause I've had a lot of typing time on the Ducky and the QFR just needs some "breaking in".

Edit;
Sorry for crappy phone camera XD

Nice, except maybe for the branding.  My new (got it yesterday) QFR is also one with branding, but the black on silver I have seems a tad less intrusive than the red on black.

However I saw a QFR with, I think, a red key cap set on it with branding - it looked sweeet :)

How do you like the Cryo?  I haven't given Kershaw a shot yet, but that's a good looking knife to me.

I have a Look of Disaproval DS red coming for Esc. I was thinking of doing the whole shrink-wrap thing around the case of it... would look awesome.  I agree about the branding =/

This baby.

Got a set of rainbow keycaps coming for it soon as well, which is good because while they keycaps are surprisingly nice, the "cover-all-bases" NO/SE/DK keys do bother me. And the font isn't really that good.

Apologies for the bad picture, I do have a proper camera and the knowledge to take pretty ones, I'm just too lazy to do it >_>

EDIT: Attachment doesn't want to work.. Hosting the image elsewhere for now.
