Just find someone already in the group buy to split the order with you so you don't have to resell. TJ will just ship it with their order. We just need a minimum of 25 people buying two, if we break 25 orders then some of the people above 25 can start taking over the doubles.

I'm not surprised by the response to this - RA is one of the best looking sets imo & at $45 for a whole set of RoW base + WoR mods, like someone said above, you're undercutting signature plastics themselves!

On another note - could you add another RoG base set to my order please? If for some reason they don't end up at $30 I'll just drop back to one set.

Its good that this gb killed the RA 2.0 prices cause people were selling sets of it for 75-100% markups from what it cost in the gb. In the gb it was $52 for the 87 key base set and $20 for the white on red mods.

It is definitely ending on the 2nd.  The only way it isn't is if I have 50 people contact me on the second begging to have an extension until payday.  The reason being that I've already extended this a month and I know through other conversations that people are starting to grow excited and restless.

I will be billing everything at once for both my, and all the buyers', sake.  I'm already full of trepidation about making 200 invoices, don't care to double it, heh.

Now that I think about it, it may mean a slight delay in full invoicing as I verify shipping, in that who is national and international to me.

ISO, as far as I'm aware, will only be produced in one colour chosen by popular vote - at the minute I believe that's WoR.  Someone feel free to correct me if that's changed in the last few days.

Also, recounted everything and through a combination of me apparently not being able to count and add, people taking things off orders and finding a handful of bs forms that connect to no name on geekhack, found out that numbers were a bit off.  Fortunately, numbers are high enough that, if a tier changed, it was less than a 3 dollar shift in all cases.

I don't know if everyone here has thanked you enough for all the effort you've put into this GB.  I know you have to monitor this thing day in and day out, constantly updating peoples orders and such.  This all takes precious time.

I personally think you should add a couple dollars to everyone's order to compensate yourself for all the trouble.  Call it the "handling" in shipping and handling.  Alternatively, if people are opposed to this for some odd reason, you could always add a voluntary donation to the billing. 

Individually no one will feel it, but collectively, we can all show TJ how much we appreciate the effort put into running this thing.

I personally think you should add a couple dollars to everyone's order to compensate yourself for all the trouble.  Call it the "handling" in shipping and handling.  Alternatively, if people are opposed to this for some odd reason, you could always add a voluntary donation to the billing. 

SP will collate the sets for $.05 a key so a base and modifer set would be roughly $4.35 extra so that TJ doesn't have to go crazy sorting all these sets. I'm going to do that with the Toxic set except on the smaller kits like winkeyless (modified tsangan) and vendor set.

As I've said countless times, the response I've received has been humbling in the positivity and well-wishiness departments, nevermind the popularity and trust I've earned to be given full reigns of this.  I've learned a couple things that I wish I had thought of in November (like getting paypal addresses/shipping locations in the original questionaire), but this has been awesome to run.

Considering the overall tone of a number of threads about how running a GB should be considered charity and how dare anyone make a profit in the community (broad brush, blunt, harsh statements, but no one has said these exact words, but this is a feeling I had from day one of starting this as well), I'll abstain from any kind of compulsory organization fees, but I will never look down my nose at anyone who feels the desire to include a tip of sorts.  Be sure to note it in your payments, of course so I don't think that you're just wanting more stuff than what's on your invoice, but don't feel discouraged because I didn't ask for anything.  Being unemployed in the traditional fashion (I'm incredibly decent at finding oddball ways to make money for rent/food and a little play cash), any little thing will help.

I think most just use the Backspace, enter, shift keys, tab, and caps lock. At least that is what the Valentine set used. Some of the other ones look neat like insert, delete, etc. However I think all the others change the set too much potentially. I wouldn't object, but others may want a more traditional keyboard, and changing so many legends this late in the game might be bad. I'd say do 7bit Backspace, enter, shift keys, tab, and caps lock and most likely no one will complain.

That's what I plan on seeing about.  I won't change it at all if it changes costs, but I already have permission from 7bit to use anything that SP has from any of his GBs.

Technically, it is now February 2nd and orders are "closed".

What I mean by that is that the tier that everything is at now is the price everyone will pay.  I'll be accepting payment from the time I get invoices out (hopefully Tuesday at latest to be 100% invoiced) until March 2nd.

 I'll also be taking order revisions (additions/subtractions and even shipping requests) and late comers until that time as well.  Those late comers just won't have any affect on the invoiced price at this time.


Oh and to those that haven't told me if you live in the US or not, please hurry.

Also, pretty much expect a PM from me asking for paypal addresses to bill (rather not clutter this up with another 200 replies, tbh) in the next day or so.  I thought about just PMing everyone an invoice with my paypal info, but I don't think that will work anywhere near as smooth.

One last thing, up to half of you will be billed via tjcaustin@yahoo.com, the other tjcaustin@gmail.com.  The reason being that this is a 20k+ order and I don't want paypal to file tax info for it.  Plus I may do another GB this year and would like the flexibility to do so.
