What's the name of the springs used in HHKB Pro 2 spacebars?

Not sure what you mean by name. Do you mean "conical springs"?

I would say no to that. It would be an extremely tight fit.

Would it be relatively easy to swap springs on a KMAC? I am trying to expand my chances of finding one :)

I just take a look at a picture of the plate. The holes for switches don't have the extra space for removing switch caps without desoldering, so no it won't be easier.

If you have the measurements you could try looking for one in online stores. I don't think you can buy replacements for them easily.

I don't see where you can buy the case alone on their site. I only found a "case replacement service".

Anyone have experience with plastidipping plates? I'm pretty sure it will adhere to the steel plate with no problem, but I'm slightly worried about when it comes to soldering the switches in.

I plastidipped the top case of my Shine II.  I haven't tried it on a plate.

I think the plastidip would get scratches or peel if you accidentally hit it with a wire keycap puller while pulling keycaps off.  It may also peel when -- as you mentioned -- insert the switches.

If you do decide to experiment and have trouble peeling the plastidip off, spray some WD40 on it and brush it.  WD40 dissolves plastidip. ;)

Thanks for the input and apologies for the late response. It's glow in the dark plasti-dip and I believe it to be 'invisible' or close to it when it's not 'glowing' so maybe a bit coming off wouldn't matter so much kinda thing. Maybe it will be interesting to try anyway!

Originative or PimpMyKeyboard Dolch set, what is better, what's difference?

Originative is Cherry Profile, which means it's thick, doubleshot ABS. Made by a company called GMK, who owns all the OG cherry tooling. You'll probably just lose all your money if you order from Originative, though.

PMK dolch is made by SP, and it's DSA profile, which IMO is the worst profile. It's thin ABS as well, which feels pretty lame. You'll actually get a keyset if you order from PMK, though.

Thanks.  I have two GMK keycaps, and they really good and thick, that's why i looked to Originative.  Is it possible to order directly from gmk (not from Originative)? I wrote them, but they answered MOQ 250.

Both sets had multiple rounds, some were run by GH. They all have small differences (the font or the modifiers for example).
I know Ducky has made dyesubs in the CCnG colourscheme and Vortex has made PBT doubleshots in the RA and CCnG colourschemes.

1. how do i wetsand? wet the plastic and just sand it?
2. where do i get leds that actually fit in the keyswitch and has a spherical top?

1. I found this: "As mentioned wet sanding is sanding the surface while using a lubricant (usually, as the name implies, water) to reduce surface scuffing." I think you should look it up via Google or make a seperate thread about it, I don't know if this is a simple question.
2. Ebay, you should look for 3mm LEDs. However it is generally recommended to use 2x3x4mm rectangular LEDs because the 3mm round ones can cause problems with thick keycaps.

I connected the correct wires, and it worked right away with no additional adjustments.
Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”

Simply that - a watermark.

To identify the picture as belonging to that person.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'm getting my Poker 2 this week, I'm sure the manual covers this but is there any thread or something covering the programming options?

Maybe the Deskthority wiki entry is helpful to you: http://deskthority.net/wiki/KBC_Poker_II#Programming
Other than that just read the manual.

If I were to send a lasercutter these DXF files, containing these drawings:

Would they be able to get the Orion TKL bottom plate and this from it?

I have never worked with DXF files before  so I am unsure if the measurements are included or not.

Are those the original drawings? If they are then you shouldn't have any problems. I'm pretty sure the measurements are included.

They are. I'll ask the lasercutter if they contain everything they need.
