What's the difference between people getting sets at GB prices and reselling at MUCH higher prices on the classifieds and a vendor who actually has overhead costs, buying a large quantity to contribute significantly to the MOQ, and then offering quick reliable service?  I'd say a pretty large difference.  I've seen this set go for as much as on techkeys on the Classifieds section.  How about the Retro set?  I've seen it go for $130 there for TKL set!!!  No one had a problem with techkeys selling the Retro set for $115 when its GB price was more like $60 or something like that.

As lot as there are people who are willing to pay that much, people who sell for profit (commercial vendors) will sell at those prices.  That's business logic.  Sell things to cover various overhead costs + profit.

It doesn't matter to me that techkeys has the set up for sale before I've received my set; the point is -- I'm getting my set. And at least with techkeys putting up some images I can see how they look. I don't feel slighted, either. Ok, I'll admit that it makes me a bit more excited about receiving them, sure, but not angry. It's not a 'douchebag' move to put them up for sale -- geez, what a comment, LOL!

well consider the fact that tech keys shipping is free for orders over $25, so it is $35 flat for the numpad

if you are finding one here on geekhack post-GB factor in the original cost of the numpad keys in the group buy, the cost for someone to ship to you, and whatever profit that individual is making out of it. you will NEVER get it as cheap as the group buy had it unless you participated in it.

Plus, boiler ships really quick.

Take your time.  For me I'd rather be the absolute LAST person to get his key-caps.  All the younger members here want their stuff immediately (because their use to living that way with their parents  ).

I would like to get an accurate amount of keys that were paid for,  than getting an order too short or overfilled with keys.

Getting an accurate order is highly desired here but I understand your pain when dealing with some of us here.  Just take your time and get every order packed at your own pace rather than jumping to howls of 'protests' here on Geekhack central, demanding immediate delivery.

Take a coffee break every three hours and talk with your Mrs or GF, or even both.  Don't give up on human contact when you're doing Group Buys because that is were you'll decide to either stop doing it, (become depressed) or refresh your methods to become more proficient in the near future.

I don't really care that much, but did anyone else who ordered ONLY what techkeys is offering get anything yet? because wouldn't all that sorting be done at once? Wouldn't all the 10key set or all the Base set + common mods be done at once?

Why are we still waiting? it's over a month later and clearly a lot of sorting has been done...

Is it because techkeys sales aren't doing as well as anticipated for this set? Really... even at 1 hour a day, for 30+ days AFTER a store RECEIVES it's keys I'm a little confused why there is no progress.
