I loves digis radnelac thread
Still waiting on my winnings.. I'd say this digi guy is pretty dodgy.

Did you give him all the moneys yet?
It's on hand, waiting on the PM.

Can I just paypal it to "Halversonloveshoff@hotmail.com"? I'm sure he'll get it that way...

I'll post this here for you guys, I put a message into Paypal for CC about 2-3 weeks ago (not a claim) and I just received the message below.

"CC has been ill. I'm Gnome 33 and I will be helping him with his orders. I am going through his notes and payments and you will be seeing movement on these orders in the next two weeks. I just started this week.

-33

p.s. CC is dreadfully sorry this has all happened and so am I."

luzl :)

Could mean CC is starting to feel a bit better, getting his sense of humour back?

Here's hoping :D

And a big yay for Gnome 33 ;D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

What a great start to the day!

Can't help wondering what happened to the first 32 Gnomes though - maybe the lack of sunlight in the basement lead to a vitamin D deficiency and they got hit by the plague and only CC survived, if just barely?

No troll they said they are starting to go through the notes and sorting things out this week, anyway I responded my case is being left open for now until I see them actually shipping items.

Also asked the hard hitting question of what happened to the other 32 gnomes

I want to talk to you chaps, about exchange rates...
But I have already paid for my items how do the exchange rate effect me :p unless the pound just got a lot stronger to the U.S. Dollar

It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

But I have already paid for my items how do the exchange rate effect me :p unless the pound just got a lot stronger to the U.S. Dollar
Well the rate has improved for us buying dollars by about 0.1 since radnelac so if you paid $100 that would have been £71 but I bet your refund would only be £66 (current rate!) Sure it's not much, but it would have been an extra slap in the face.

Thankfully this won't be happening :)

So the lucky few who got a cap - if I remember rightly there was no tracking number given and they just turned up?

so it turns out, i got a reply on one of my disputes, but not on the other... and gnome 33 got my name wrong...
Well there's no point saying the same thing twice...

I wonder how many disputes there are to go through, not many people are posting in this thread compared to while the clackvent was running and plenty of the absentees won a ticket for this torturous ride!

no response on my disputes...

and i only have until the 5th to escalate to a claim... which is the day after i get back from my vacation...
My condolences

But on a serious note, I got the msg from Gnome 33 as well. There's light at the end of this tunnel, fan.. it's as bright as we want it to be.

So Gnome 33 is not a troll?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I was wondering that as well. I'll wager way more people are paying attn to this thread's happenings than posting for sure. A LOT of people probably refrained from posting their doubts for fear of community backlash

I made a thread about Clacks, and then ended up getting one? I must have amnesia, and someone must have stolen that Clack...

Sounds like great news! I was about ready to consider the money a loss.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done
