Last time my email was stamped at the exact time and I ended up getting nothing so I sent this one 2-3 seconds earlier to account for the travel time. Hopefully the outcome will be different.

I believe last time it took 4 hours or so for me to get a reply. Sale was at 6:00PM and I got a reply at 9:58.

Last time I used gmail and it got stamped at 2 seconds past deadline and I didn't make it, this time it got stamped at 2 seconds past as well.

Damn, I did the same thing. Even thought about it before hand.. then I got so flustered when 12:00 hit. >:)

Sending when the timer gets to 0 is too late in some cases. Depends on location, ping, and email host.

New idea for next time: Set up email forwarding to CC from my own email, then email both him and myself at 58-59. If the first one is too soon, the forwarding should kick in shortly thereafter. Don't forget to turn off email forwarding though.

I don't trust that stamp ever since then though. I got in to the dibs sale and got part of my order that time if my memory serves me right.

It's under settings and 'labs' mine was disabled by default I think.
