Are there available keysets for alp switches? This is my only worry.
Quote from: MOZ on Sun, 20 October 2013, 09:22:03Are there available keysets for alp switches? This is my only worry. If you have a whole board, and a set of SW, We might transform them into a Alps mini and a KeyPad? Hope I am not insane!
How about a GB for keycap set from SP?

He is very busy, perhaps I might take over, I'll PM him.
Any idea where I can get ALPS switches?

I would definitely be in for at least one if I have the money at the time.
If it's compatible with Apple keycaps/stabs I'm in. Much, much, much prefer those to the AT101W keycaps.edit: Where will the plate come from?
Does it have a fn layer, primary layer fully programmable?
calavera is interested in rebooting his IC himself, so that is good news for this project.
I'd be down for at least two.
I didn't saw any mention so let me ask: is it going to be open source?

Yeah, I'm not missing out on another 60% Alps keyboard. Still sad I missed out on the Duck Mini2. I'm in!
Thank You Very Much Sir! As We had lots of Bitter Experiences these Days ; Cherry + Alps Fusion on a PCB cause a Huge PCB + Plate Design Obstacles. Let the ALPS have Their Own Way of Life ! Let Alps have much more Flexibility to Embrace most of It's own Brothers : The Warriors in Golden Days ! Dell, Apple, Omnikey, SGI, LeadingEdge,,,,, and abundant siblings, cousins, compatibles !
Switches ordered from 7bit. Clicky ofcourse. Now we need keycaps and this PCB
Yes Matias Clicky.
So, similar to the Cherry-only 60%, does this support a shorter right-shift so an extra keyswitch can be put in?If every available hole is filled with a switch, how many keys will this board provide?
