I'm bothered by the fact that I submitted an incremental source file for my MP (Comp Sci class) and got 10% docked because one of my functions didn't work properly in that version (the final version that I failed to submit was 100% working).

I'm an idiot for naming the incremental file the same as my final version. I really need to work on file and folder naming and organization.... I did this last semester too and vowed to not let it happen again. Lo and behold, it happened again one semester later... agh!

I'm going to be bothered by this until my TA gets back to me with a response =(

Coat hangers.

Every time you try to pickup just one from the pile, half the rest of the come up too in a big hooked together mess.

Try to shake the one you want loose, and a couple of them will fall down te back of some inaccessible piece of furniture.

Try to pull it loose and it will be bent out of shape.

Every time.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I have a wardrobe full of them.  I used to live near a row of clothes shops, and they used to throw out thousands of wire clothes hangers at a time.

Supplied for life.

Something else that is bothering me is this air-conditioner.

Today is 32 degrees outside, and 31 degrees inside.

Inside temperature has gone up 3 degrees since I turned the air-conditioner on.

I'm bothered because my Sprit 60% is experiencing a problem and it's been my daily driver. I'm about to build my backup keyboard but the lube has not arrived yet. Should I build it with lube(mx clear + 62g spring)? or wait for the lube?

My room and several others at my school have the heater stuck on full so we control the room temp by opening the window. -10C and windy is a pretty good for AC system.

Compressed air also works if you want to turn the heater up.

I bought a Ducky Shine 3 in Orange LED because the local store I bought from were not going to be restocking them.
Now every time a key lights up in reactive typing mode, I am reminded by the fact that I didn't get the color I wanted.

Don't even worry. Bubble mailer with tracking is pretty cheap and no worries. USPS becomes canada post over the border and tracking works fine.

trying to figure out how to bring a small container of drugs into the UK.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I shipped a gasmask without shipping to Australia, and it was fine, and another to Renfrewshire in the UK, but there were 2 cities listed, so I had to decide which city was more important, so I chose Renfrewshire and I guess it got there fine.

HHKB, at least if you type as much as I do. If you game a ton I prefer MX.

Truth. I finally sold my MJ2 a few months ago (or more) and kept my HHKB. Very happy with that. Then again, I might be lying a bit since I game with a Poker II with MX blacks.

Tough call on that. I guess it depends like Joey Quinn said. I use my HHKB 90% of the time, but I mostly work instead of playing now.

I have to sell my collection of boards and keys to raise some money, but I can't decide if i want to keep my Filco mj2 or my HHKB.

HHKB, at least if you type as much as I do. If you game a ton I prefer MX.

That's the way i'm leaning, problem though is that the HHKB is worth more, and I enjoying gaming on it just as much as i do typing.  It's really become my endgame board.
eh o well

If you need money and really like the HHKB that much, I'd just keep it and hope that topre is your "endgame", if that is even a thing.

Haven't thought about buying another board in months sense I started using it, love the thunk lol. I think I may just keep the HHKB, at least something decent comes out of me getting rid of my collection, i'll have some bros to sell at retail to preferable broless.

It sucks that you have to sell stuff but at least you'll get to spread some artisans. Also thanks for not marking up the caps.  :thumb:

The fact that I got like $1000 in keyboard stuff up in the air right now. Its all group buys and keycaps and I know they take time but it sucks having to wait 3+ months after giving away your money to see any results.

so glad i am white.

I think I'm graduating with the wrong degree.
If it makes you feel any better, I did too, and I'm just fine. I picked my major when I was 17, and I have always maintained very few 17 year olds can accurately predict what they want to do for a career. I was so off base it wasn't even funny!

Welcome to DramaHack!
