Every novelty keycap sold for more than $5 should go in the dumb-purchases thread..

He may be back, but notably there are no V2 clones :thumb:

I'm surprised to see the wolf cap though, it shows he can sculpt.  Unfortunately he hasn't got a good idea for a cap or an eye for colour - as an aspiring artist with no ideas myself I kinda feel sorry for the guy.

Only problem I see with that is as soon as I got one I would hollow it out and glue a cheapo keycap from a crap bag into it and use the key as a normal artisan :p

I think they could slash the fake market if there was a reasonable high-quantity CC/Bro cap for 25-30 USD each. It could have been only a one color, who cares!

I understand when CC's or Bro's cost alot, limited quantity, raffle system and such, but when someone copies it, and has literally 100 copies available, why would someone pay 30-50 USD for that? And even add "our keycaps have K3KC logo under the keycap so they're legit", wow, i really want a proof that i have bought an original copied keycap, seriously? I have seen a fake Bro for like 10 USD on TaoBao, and that's a reasonable price for a fake product, right?

People just really want artisans, period. Other than HKP's or 3D printed keys, its pretty difficult to lay down cash for a artisan, there's just not the supply. Some people don't really mind having a knockoff as long as they have something, as opposed to waiting around for raffles/giveaways/sales they might not even get into and then have to wait weeks for production/delivery.

Truth, albeit slightly unrealistic.

They all look like fakes to me, since I recall K3 selling those specific colors. Not sure about the white one (never saw it), but I know that colorway wasn't offered so more than likely a knock-off.

the ESC and FN are HKP caps...

The pink with the red headset is a fake. I don't recall Bro making that colourway. I think the white with trans green as well. 2 out of 4. I think you can safely conclude they are all fakes, LOL!

Pretty sure he has only released some pictures of it.  K3s looks pretty ugly.

It looks ridiculous if he was going for a direct copy. Once bro releases his and the detail is compared to his. It will show that he truly is **** at carving original caps. Probably the only reason he tries to steal other work.

Idk I think he shot him self in the foot with this.

The only reason he made a bad attempt at a v2 reaper, is so that he can make an "exact" copy when the v2 reaper actually is released.

Then his fake v2 reaper will be the Fake v2 Reaper v2

I rather loudly jokingly  told one of my female co-workers to stop checking out the ass of another female co-worker this morning and still haven't had an HR call, so I think taking about monster vags would probably be okay. Did I also mention that there were some higher ups there that I didn't notice when I said it?  I don't think they heard, so I'm good.
