Thanks for giving the ISO set some love and include alphas with legends and not just blank caps!

Maybe you could also squeeze in twilight Enter+Shift?

I would love to but unfortunately ISO Enter is expensive and we have to make a decision on coloring. I will try to ask a quotation for both options but I'm pretty sure it won't come cheap.

The SA kits look awesome.
Waiting for the GB...

Looking good! I'm glad that there's some color to the ErgoDox and Blank sets, it helps make those legend-less keys more interesting.

Does anyone else have interest in an alternate homing key set for the SA keys? I'm thinking it's something I'd like, but it sounds like more people would need to speak up to make it happen.

I like the "SENTUH" kit, that makes me ridiculously happy, even it it may still not happen yet. Wouldn't we need a regular F/J in it too?

Has anyone done much in the way of advertising this on other forums? I really want this to be a success, so I could go make a post on a few places, especially now that it sounds like it's so close to launching.

The problem is that we are running 2 versions (slant+flat) and also DCS. I hardly see it reaching high tiers, the kits are very much diluted.

That would be my worry too about trying to run both at once. The SA kit has everything I've every wanted in a key set, so I'll try to champion that one/spread the word, but my experience says most people may go for what's most familiar (i.e. DCS). Has anyone else tried to run two profiles at once before? I'm not sure I've ever seen it happen (not to say that it wouldn't work).

In that case, maybe it's better to just ram through one profile. Compromise on a profile so that we can get the caps at all.

Maybe another poll is in order. I didn't get the chance to say anything about the SA profile rows before Matt3o posted the kits, because I had missed most of the IC up to that point. But I would definitely NOT buy a R3-only SA set, would definitely buy a slanted SA set, and would probably buy a DCS set regardless.

Edit: Also, I would probably NOT buy another 3-1-2-3-3-3 set.

Just to clarify according to the latest images, SA will not include a gamer kit nor a full twilight modifier set?

I am fine with any form factor. My only concern is that I will want to buy all the sets if DCS and SA run!

It would be interesting to run the poll again and see what ends up on top considering how long it's been and how many iterations each set has gone through. Then again, I suppose the buy does need to start at some point...

SA does have a WASD option (look closer)

Why no twilight in SA?
Because we already have slant + flat options. If I had to add twilight we would end up with a gazillion sets and none of them would meet the MOQ.

The solution would be so settle on slant OR flat and add the twilight mods back.

I see that SA has the twilight WASD, but not the Glow or Transparent(?) WASD sets shown in the DCS. I understand though how there may be too many options and would be too costly to implement in SA.

That's an interesting idea. I'm not sure what that would do to the chances of hitting MOQ for the alternate homing keys, but clearly hitting MOQ on the set period is the more important issue. I love the current options, but could completely understand if you want to run it that way. The most important thing would be to gauge how many users want all R3 vs. how many want variable rows (looking through the thread, it seem like there's significant interest in both).

I'm not sure if this option would be popular at all, but what about choosing SA or DCS first and then running the next profile a while later? I feel like the biggest obstacle here to making it work is trying to run a number of kits in two profiles at once.

Apologies: I'm aware that I am both new and talkative, so I will try and contain my enthusiasm...

In SA I would be keen on both the All R3 and the Slant sets.
I really want all R3, however I am intrigued by the idea of the R3 lower plus slanted upper rows. I've not seen that before (although that's not saying very much).

Or, if it's offered with Slant as primary, and All R3 is available only via an all-in-Ergodox-&-R3 kit, well, that route is OK too. Whatever is most likely to get up.

I think it would be enough to cover some odd layouts (like I'm used to use).

With the SA profile could you also include a 4.5 spacebar.  Not sure if it'd hit MOQ, but I think it did with the commando set.
I really want a replacement key set for the pure pro, love the layout;  I've used mine forever and the stock keys are getting really worn.

Does anyone have any examples or photos of what an all R3 SA profile setup looks like?

The more I think about the SA set, the more I'm leaning towards it vs. DCS, but I'm unsure as to
whether I'll like all R3 or variable rows. Most of the photos I've googled for SA profiles are all variable
aside from some of the ergodox sets floating around.

I feel like a non-variable profile will look better on a Poker 2 and might be a good alternative.

got the quote for Midnight in DCS. Everything looks fine. A base set (alpha+mods) ends up at $70 and the additional kits are all very nicely priced.

I will set the MOQ for the base set to 100 and 50 for each modifier kit. ISO kit will have both enters (midnight AND twilight).

Tomorrow I will push everything to PMK and we can start. Then we will talk about SA.
