Just shy of $7. It's actually fairly good for international shipping to be honest, usually Massdrop charge a lot more than that even for small items.

Sadly we pay a ton in import duty and taxes too, and Massdrop declares full value (and Ive heard sometimes MSRP) for items.

They can't for legal reasons, as a business. Well, you are obviously not supposed to as an individual but it happens.

It's the ridiculousness of the shipping companies being able to charge a flat fee for payment of taxes which is the issue. I have paid for shipping already and then have to pay them a further flat fee of $15-20 just because they have to collect payment for HMRC (although they refuse to let you pay this yourself in any way and always pay it on your behalf to collect the fee instead)

thanks everybody for making this a successful buy! It took us months to square this circle, but at the end it is paying off. Don't get too exited though... we are still far from the target. People ordered less than the "purchase intent" on an average so far... but anyway at this pace there shouldn't be any problem.
