  • Hello and welcome.
Ugh, I hate it when sites or reviewers do stuff like this. It's so unprofessional :/ .

I'd love to give the Type Heaven a go though. All I need is to convince Topre to give me one xD .
Check my keyboard video reviews:

That mixed skin decal at the end is pretty bad-ass.

Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”

I have the K400 and it's pretty decent, but I really wish it was backlit for HTPC use.

I'd love to give the Type Heaven a go though.

Skip the Type Heaven and go straight for an RF 104UB.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

They must be playing to their advertising department, otherwise why such embarrassingly mundane selections?

I'll endorse the Logitech washable keyboard. I got one for my wife for about $30 a while back. She has spilled a number of things on it, but it still works like new. I had no idea the MSRP was $80, geez.

The only keyboard on that list that in MY opinion is somewhat good is the POK3R. The person who wrotes has a point in considering getting a good keyboard if you sit behind your computer alot. But what the hell, recommending a damn foldable/rollable keyboard for a nice typing experience?!? Last time i checked they barely even work. Oh and he likes blues and browns  :-\

You can't put things in lists like that unless they are currently available for people to buy off the shelf.

I actually have a review of the K400 (the Logitech with touchpad) written, I just need to go over it and put pictures in.

It's bad.
Every reviewer thinks it's a great keyboard, but that's because they didn't actually use it how it was intended.

Something to note.
K400 shown in the article is actually the K400 Plus model, not the K400.

Well, at least there are some mechanical keyboards on the list.  Monoprice ****s up their keyboards with iso enter keys though :/.
