TREASURE TYPE-9 ( SERIES II )


Hello to all,
I am is Eric from Treasure, Industrial Designer from France ( https://www.instagram.com/treasuretreasure.co/ ).
This new project is the follow up of my first macropad keyboard of last year ( Macropad Type-9 :  https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=91252.0 & macropad.co), in a new and improved version.

Treasure Type-9 is stylish metal macropad keyboard with a lot of keys in the smallest form factor.
On the technical side, the Treasure Type-9 ( Series II ) is now enterly solderless, as it have Kailh hot swap stockets and smd leds already on the PCB.
The kit will be sold with 9 DSA keycaps, a travel case and an USB Type-C to A cable; so you just have to bring your keyswitches !

The aim of this interest check is to find how many people are interested, and discuss about color / finish options.

In the kit, you will find :

 
  • 1 Unibody CNC aluminum or brass case
  • 1 Pre-Assembled PCB with Kailh hot swap sockets + SMD leds
  • 1 custom metal plate
  • 1 USB Type-C cable
  • 9 Custom DSA Keycaps
  • 9 Keyswitches (Optional) 
  • 1 Travel Case (Optional)

Having purchased the original Type-9, it was an awesome little macropad with amazing quality, and I feel somewhat underrated in the community.

Great to see most of the suggestions from the community implemented into Series II.  :thumb:

For the polished Stainless Steel versions, what are the steel grade you'll be specifying? And is there any coating on the chrome version?

Thanks for the support Windeh, i am glad you liked the original version :thumb:. It was a very limited run
Concerning stainless steel grade and coating, i am currently in discussion in this regard with the supplier, I will have the answer next week.
