Clears from 7bit. Whoop whoop
How long did it take for them to arrive after they shipped? I placed an order Monday and I'm curious to see how long it will take when they ship.

I can see all the boxes and circles in that link. The contract between colors just isn't very good.

Even though it was my idea, after seeing Miami in real keys that way I am pretty meh. Looks too cyan not aquamarine and SP thin legends make it hard to see legends. I think it would have probably looked better with white legends or as blanks with SP.

Spot on. I am appreciative of the concept and everyones efforts but if we are openly discussing this ... I would never have bought these had I seen these in person. I seriously can't read the legends. They are way too thin for the amount of contrast. White would have been so much better.

Miami awesome.

But, who buys these to actually use on a daily basis?  Aren't they just for decoration?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

YMMV but It took about two weeks for him to pack the orders up and then another week to arrive from Germany.

The contrast on the Miami set is so bad..

It's part of why I want to do a set I call "Miami nice".  Instead of two high contrast colors like that together, the alphas would be a light grey with pink or teal or pink or teal with grey or black letters and the mods would be dark grey with the inverse.

An excellent board, easily customisable, and unbranded to boot!

It is really hard to make out the legends in anything less than a fully lit room.  I even mixed up some letters when putting them on the keyboard, had to turn on more lights to tell the difference between "Q" and "O."

Pretty striking, though.  I plan on using this at the office, it's beautiful when lit well!  Hard as hell to photograph, though, I had to use a sheet of white paper to get the camera to even see them as pink and not orange.   :p

By the way, huuuuge props to IvanIvanovich for the completeness of the Miami set!  I use the SkiData board as a kind of measuring stick, as it's got a mix of odd key types.  The Miami set + ten-key + ISO kit only lacked two keys from completely filling out the keyboard!  I'd need a 1u R2 blank and one more R3 to complete the number pad, but two of the star keys look fine there.

The real irony is that I'd forgotten I was part of this GB.  I was looking at all the upcoming release teasers, thinking that I'd made a mistake passing this one by, and how maybe I could take over someone else's order...    :))

I felt my first BS today. A lady brought in a Canon desktop computer with 50Mhz processor/4mb ram/400 mb hdd LOL

I offered 60$ to buy it off her but she said she liked it too much. WTF

Felt amazing, i want my own! I dont have money for it right now though:(
