Not exactly today, but I was told that I was not allowed to open it until we had more or less moved into the new house.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I wish I had the patience and effort for that. I saved switches for myself, and simply used powerline.

Instead of freaking out, contact the person you ordered from and ask them POLITELY. That may answer your question.

Try getting info from an ebay seller based in china (most likely where he bought them) and see if you get a result.

Most of my recent ebay purchases from china have only take two weeks at the most usually around 10 days but maybe it takes longer for it to get to Canada...

I ordered an item from China got some dodgy not working tracking number, asked repeatedly for a working code filed a claim on day 44, won the dispute, item arrived the day after I got a refund. I felt bad :'( promptly bought a load of random junk from their shop.
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

What color, how many, and what kind?  Depending on what they were, I may be able to hook you up.
