He is actually working on Ti ones, and they should be done before the other silver ones.

The Filco from Photo arrived today.  This thing looks beautiful.  The paint job is really top notch.  Can't say enough good things about the job she did.  :thumb:  I owe you one, Photo.  I'm almost sad to gift this board to my friend now.  :))  The pictures suck and don't accurately depict the color.  It's slightly color-changing under different light or shade changing rather as it goes from a lighter to a darker purple.  Really cool.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Haha thanks. Actually that is a picture of it with the lights on.. it doesn't give off a lot of light. It's more of a novelty thing anyway, I didn't buy it expecting it to do a good job at lighting. Hell, having bought it from China, I was surprised that it actually even worked at all  :)

Here's two more pictures with it off and on.

Not in the mail, but I picked up a KB-5181 with Monterey Blues, three Apple keyboards with white or cream alps, another keyboard with white alps, an IBM Model F 5170, a ton of Wyse boards, and a Wyse-like board.

Nope, Flynn had the file the Koreans used when they did there G80-1800 plate buy. I only changed it so they would have removable switch top cutouts.

So I just received this baby today and ;oaijw;oigj;awoijgawoiejgaweogj it feels good! I always wondered why so many just convert to Topre and I think I can now slightly understand why many do... it just feel so damn butter. Is it better than Cherry switches? I wouldn't say that just yet as I still believe they just feel "different," BUT there's no denying that Topre switches feel amazing. The tactile bump right at the top is so sudden and immediate but at the same time it's also feels very gradual because you can feel the entire thing even though it's happening so fast. Anyhow, enough of my crappy explanation of how it feels, and here are some pictures!

Sorry for the dark pictures but it's a gloomy day in Gainesville today :P I also flipped the spacebar (it doesn't look as nice but it feels so natural!) and added a Red ESC key!

LOL when I saw this scrolling into view in the bottom of my web browser, my first thought was that Leopold had made a blue one!

Congratulations - and your description of the initial Topre bump is very accurate.  I've been trying to think of a way of describing it for a while.

Thanks! Starting to love the switches more as I type on them but it's hard to transition between Capacitive and Cherry MX. They are just so different :))

Here are some more accurate color pictures~

Here are also some rough youtube videos I uploaded of me typing on it:
