Got the orange Realforce set but it's at the post office waiting for me... 9am can't get here fast enough!!!
Sweet that's the one I really want (although pink is nice people ask too much for them) couple questions meow if you don't mind printed/blank and did you have to use wide basket ? I'm excited to see what you have planned !
They're printed (I don't think they make blanks anymore...)

wide basket??? oh is that the seller from ebay... if so, yes!!!

I'll post some pictures once I get them!!! Also had a weak moment last night and ordered the last red printed set :p
:)) I know its hard to keep your wallet on lockdown. Seems I have been having alot of weak moments lately! My transmission just went in my car though so that's going to put a dent in my keyboard/keycap budget...NOT COOL MAN

I finally received my 55g HHKB Type-S from Epzy:
Show Image

Thanks Epzy for the orange RF key. Love it! The keycaps are a bit dirty but I bought some dental stuff to clean it.

I'm not a big fan of the 55g so far. It feels way to mushy and not enough snappy compared to my Novatouch 45g. I'll give it some time to see if my impressions will change.

Powder Puff Purple Fn on his way!

FinaKlly you got it boy!

You and your weak fingers, as you said give it time !

See you in may, I'll finish the GON60 and RS96 for next meeting :)

You'll definitely see the difference between the 45g and the 55g. I wonder if the difference doesn't come as well the fact that the Novatouch has a metal plate whereas the HHKB doesn't. But the Type-S is definitely quiet.
Hopefully it grows on you NGT as I know you have been looking forward to this for awhile. Also it seems pretty common for people to be a bit disappointed at first when they get there first HHKB but it seems as if the majority that stick with it end up changing there minds and loving it. Either way it looks pretty dope ! Good luck  :thumb:

Thanks. Apparently the mushiness is inherent to the Type-S because the plungers don't have a thinner base like they do on the RF silent board hence you lose some of the tactility. I thought they'd use that same thinner base plunger.

Silenced Novatouch w/ Hack'd by Geeks

Sold: Ducky Zero Shine (Brown) | Poker 2 (Blue) | HHKB 55g Type-S

Is that hasu's PCB?

Yes it is.  I'm debating between butchering my existing AEK II plate and getting one made for it.

I saw your post saying you might be able to get a plate made. I'd be interested in a custom Alps plate.

It's been too long since I bought new socks. I actually need some nice short socks for the summer.

A switch holder for my key caps. I eventually will get 4 rows of different switches Black,Red,Blue and brown so I can also use it as a switch tester. Pretty impressed with it except the switch openings which could have been slightly smaller to hold the switches tighter but it feels very solid and well built.

I just want to say that, even though I am not diabetic, "diabetic socks" are really comfortable. I'm not sure why they are classed as "diabetic" except they don't shut down circulation like a tourniquet.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Package got a little bit damaged on the way to Australia!

But Bro's excellent and extremely robust packaging ensured that the contents were completely unscathed :)

Both blue - the results of different lighting.

This is a coupled picture. I receive my 55g HHKB Type-S a few days ago but I got my Powder Puff Purple Fn yesterday.

I don't like the Type-S so far. I may resell it afterwards.

<3 zeal cables.  so will the black cable go with the board and red for the pad?  or the other way around? :)  and is red and black your favorite color scheme?  that's my guess from seeing your setups, haha :)

are you going to stick with your novatouch, then?  too bad about not liking the type-s.  i've never tried one and have been fine with the regular hhkb2.  but anyways, it looks really good with the Bro Fn and white cable. :)

a cute stray cat combination that comes out happily when you look at your face is cute

Yes,  red for the pad and black for the board
I've no color preference but I do like good color combos, ie RGBY, CMYW, black and orange, white and red, etc

Honestly if I've the chance to get a titanium color KPAD, I would
I can't stand different color pad than my KMAC2

Today in the (e)mail I got a notification from USPS that my package had been delivered!

The package my other half collected from the PO Box last week.

PS/2 to USB adapter. It was ultra-cheap and it works great with Model M (13393669, detachable cable, from 1993).
