Very nice!

Do you use a long USB cable because your desk is big, or because you like to have a keyboard in your lap (like me)?

Thanks!

I use the long USB cable because:

1. My desk is very very large
2. My computer tower is on the floor so it also adds a large distance from all my peripherals
3. I do sometimes like to use my keyboard in my lap but I think I'll be scared to do so with the 660C because the USB port has no support :( However, I definitely do use my other boards in my lap at times :D

How difficult would that be to do.  All I've desoldered/soldered so far is just switches and I hate the super long cord on my m50s.

shouldn't be too hard, there are some tutorials online. i bought mine already modded and compared to the cable of my ad700 and a900x it was heaven. these 2 cables are ridiculously long

That. I smoked peter jackson's on and off for a few years but i msotly hate putting other through the smell and such. I wouldn't consider myself a full time smoker though. I would smoke about 3 a day on breaks/bus. Always felt bad smoking at a bus stop.. I would always stand as far as i could to not bother others but you always smell like crap anyways.

Also, i have quit smoking weed for the most part. Trying to get my life on track and not just working a boring day job for the rest my life. Time to plan for the future!

LOL! Definitely will have to think about doing that in the near future. For now, the long cable isn't too bad because I need a somewhat lengthy cord to reach the computers at work. However, a detachable option would be nice. Is there any sound distortion issues with this mod?

Thank you! I like to keep things somewhat uniform in terms of theme :P

I absolutely love it! This one is used so there are some minor issues like double click sound/feel on left click (doesn't actually double click though, thankfully), which is probably due to the case/button not in constant contact with the switch, and a small scratch on the ball that I sometimes feel and sometimes get stuck... but it's fully functional so that's good :) I'm going to try to get warranty to do something about. I really hope they can replace it.

At first, I felt like a retard because I was having trouble controlling it but after tweaking with the software, this thing has become amazing. If I had tried it out before buying, I would've thrown $100 down for a new one without hesitation. Anyone who's contemplating on getting one but scared because you're not sure if you'll like it or not, like I did, do yourself a favor and just buy it already. You'll love it.

Dood! Awesome choice. Going one step up :D I would've loved that thing too, and I've heard amazing things about it. I only prefer the Slimblade because of the low profile and scrolling feature, but I think the CST looks amazing and probably works like a charm too.

Love the GH ones! :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I wonder how often these explode, since they've got a lithium ion battery in a sealed container.

Sifo, Halverson, and Elton told me they found a Legoland near Chicago. There's this place called a "Lego Discovery Center" that has a small version of Legoland and a giftshop. Sifo and crew got engraved lego pieces and when I saw em, I knew I needed some too. So mistakemistake and I went and got some #swag made. =P

Dood! Awesome choice. Going one step up :D I would've loved that thing too, and I've heard amazing things about it. I only prefer the Slimblade because of the low profile and scrolling feature, but I think the CST looks amazing and probably works like a charm too.

I think the LtracX has a scroll button and something else unique..im not sure specifics but i was recommended that one and it looks like the best one for me imo

either way the LTrac and LTracX are both different haha

im getting mine in beige and getting a trans blue ball for it

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's amazing, isn't it - that yesterday you didn't even know existed and suddenly you NEED one.
