I think I am going to not get pn 1-3 keys or any of that nonsense and make it more normal, might be a dumb question but how exactly did you get the right enter and left shift keys on there? Since those keys are taking up the space of two keys.

Since those keys are taking up the space of two keys.

All I did was open it up and remove two of the hammer/spring parts (the one to the right of the original left shift position and the one to the left of the original "enter" position).  I'm going to need to put in some of those white stabilizers that are normally used, as right now all four of the keys that normally have stabilizers (other than spacebar) are just wobbling around.

It wasn't too hard to make the modification.    And since I'm removing keys instead of adding them it really is quite easy.

Nice Photoelectric, I think maybe it's the first time I've seen posted a working WEY. All the red, yellow and green key upper left block are pad print, as are all the colored legends on other keys.

Well the fibers are longer and a different material on this white one versus the black on I used previously but on the black one, I had no issues with fibers coming off.

There were some stray fibers to begin with on the white one and I'm not sure how it would hold up for long term use but its definitely something different you don't see everyday.

Those are Cherry ML in there, and yes it's a G84 variant. I didn't even know there was so much variants of this one.
I can't tell the model number on this one, but so far I've found in the dump :
- A black one (this one), USB, French layout, with winkey and menu key.
- Twice the same as above, but in white.
- One in white, with no menu key/winkey, French layout, PS2 (straight cable).
- One in white + beige for the mods, no menu key/winkey, French layout, PS2 (curly cable).
If someone want a group shot I can take one.

Will do!  I'm planning to use one of them on the Ducky Shine yellow keyboard, maybe swap the keycaps at the same time.

Edit: Fit is good on the Ducky Shine 3, as I think these were advertised as made specifically for this model.  The fit on the Keycool 108 I had on the desk is not nearly as good.


I was expecting more of a stretch-to-fit style of cover, these fit snugly but feel a bit loose along the long edges.  Could improve once they warm up, it's still well below freezing outside, just got these from the mailbox.




Rear edge of the Keycool keyboard is quite tall, the cover here departs sharply from the smooth lines along the back of the Ducky.


All in all I think it's a decent cover for the price, adds a nice note of color to dress up a drab keyboard.  I would recommend these for Ducky full-size keyboards over other brands, though, unless you just want to cover up a stock logo or paint job you can't stand.
