Received this FN and noticed it matched one of my reapers! :D

I see you also hate the new green apple flavor ;)

My desk at work has a cup of green apples I've been picking out of my Skittles for the past week and no one wants them.

Also: nice Reaper!

I actually don't mind the green apple flavour, I just wanted to add some contrast to the photo! (And I might have eaten the other colours before this photo was taken :-\ )

No shine, caps look mint. Pulled a cap, Cherry blues underneath and very very clean. All switches are nice and even in weight and feel.

I'm going to throw DOS and Mario Teaches Typing on here for my son to play with. He and I will clean it, wash caps, etc together as a little dad-son project.

Later when he needs net access we'll pull the guts and put modern components in there, prob have to replace the screen also.

He's really excited and I am too!

Damn everytime I see a Dolch set I'm all excited. I guess I should try to find one then. :D

You should!  It's cool and old and built like a tank. I like to sit and imagine 1990's hackers loving these things for their expandability and being able to shove 4-5 network cards in there.

Wow. Was this Ebay? I see them on there but they ain't cheap.

This one was around $100.  Guy had it on eBay for $160 and I offered him $90. Shipping was another $13(?) I think. I figured the keyboard is worth at least most of that by itself. But I'd like to keep it together, as it's just such a cool system.

Unfortunately tonight I figured out the LCD backlight or CCFL is burnt out. So first order of business will be to replace that

I'm also going to keep my eye out for an old 12" LCD to shoehorn in since this one is only VGA resolution.

Couldn't agree more. I was very surprised. Thought for sure I was going to get something in black (which I would've been just as happy with)

Yep it's bolted up. It wasn't NIB, but it's in really good shape. From what I can see so far it only has two scratches on the left side, and a few on the bottom.

I can imagine your feeling when you saw that drawing on the envelope  :thumb:

Didn't check the mail until I got home from work. Fiancée hands me the envelope, and I'm pretty sure there was an audible squee

So I got something very very cool in the mail today!!!

The Tactile from CPTBADASS!!!! <333

I took photos of it as soon as I got it in the mail, but wasn't able to post it until now~

I've read only about the first 3 pages but I'm absolutely loving it!!! So much fun reading things written by your pals <3

Something about physically holding and reading from paper that is so satisfying ~ We just don't do it enough anymore because of computer screens :(

I'll have to finish reading it later tonight in bed~<333

I SHALL COLLECT EVERY VOLUME!!!!

Absolutely beautiful handwriting by Anson <3
SPLENDID ~
I'm keeping this envelope... the texture... the way you wrote my name... gets me tingly

Time to open this baby up~ I feel like I'm opening a love letter. Teehee~<3

OOOOooooo~~~

AAAaahhhhhh~~~

haha, actually Zeal still have some in stock but they are too expensive for me. I don't want to put that much into it. I love the cyan additional pack though. I'll see how it goes with my Hyperfuse. If I don't like it maybe I could trade it for a Dolch set. I think I'll like it anyway so it won't happen like that.

I have an Hyperfuse HHKB right in my mind atm ... Damn it looks gorgeous. Reminds me of someone's signature.
