What do you think of the board? Most importantly, how do you like the switches? Are they similar to reds in feel (and sound sort of?) or not?

The board feels great, nice and sturdy like most Leopolds. My first impression of the switches is that they ~~feel nice and smooth stock~~, way quieter than reds. I think I agree with others in that they maybe feel a tad heavier than regular reds, probably something to do with the silencing. I don't have any Topre, silenced or otherwise to compare it to, but I'd say it's the same level as maybe a little louder than my laptops keyboard with the exception of the spacebar and other larger stabilized keys, so significantly more quiet than regular cherry switches.

edit: I take back what I said about them feeling smooth, don't know if it was just the stock lube or what.

It's pretty damn cool. I think it's the same green as the Herr Frietag. Of course, I'm a huge fan of the ogres in general. I still need one of the light blue ones that showed up this CV.

I have a love hate relationship with UW, but they look ridiculous this year. If they keep it up like they have been, they'll be in the CFP.

i have a new PCB coming and i'm deliberating on which keycap set i want (it'll probably be WoB) but i have my LZ now and i've never been happier with a keyboard

Smallfry set to occupy it for now, with a GMK TA alt keycap to serve as rightshift

there's a KBT Pure with reds in it for the next couple days, but i might buy a cheap case to put that in so it doesn't just sit around

In terms of sound - I thought it wouldn't ping at all now but it's still there. Will have to put the dental bands/landing pads so it's quite on the upstroke.

In terms of feels - yeah gurl, it's wonderful. The texture is great and similar to other HHKB keycaps now, a bit bit smoother though.
