At least you get a offer like that best I have had is someone point me to let me know someone else was selling something privately maybe people don't like me .-. I always wonder how people get stuff as I never go asking when someone shows something in a thread as I don't want to be rude :X

Which is why I've stayed clear thus far, but as time goes on I use less apps than i used too... And if chrome cast, twitch, Twitter and Facebook all work there isn't much more I need to use. Safari is literal **** and I'd take IE over it any day.

But yeah, the new update to windows phone that goes with win10 looks and sounds good in theory anyway

For the first time ever, USPS marked one of my packages Undeliverable because "a secure location was not found", even though my front porch is not visible from the street.

I'm not sure whether to be pleased or mad, either way I'm annoyed because I wanted to spend this weekend playing with the lighting effects on my incoming Ducky Mini! grrr

My relationship with postal services is slowly rotting away at its core...enough that I am tempted to start using Fedex or UPS for everything I send out to prevent misery to others.

My doorbell just recently got busted (about half a yr now) and the mailman decided it was a good idea to knock on the ****ing door so hard that he could almost smash it. (The door is a glass panel inside a wooden frame)

My back has been gradually improving, but earlier in the weekend I still needed to hold on to the roof rack to get in the car.  As I sat down the door started closing due to the camber of the road.  I was trying to get my legs in properly and forgot my hand was still holding the roof rack.  My right-click finger got squashed and was numb for a while, then swollen and bruised.

This time I got referred to an allergist, and earned myself an epipen. I've also got a list of foods to not eat until I figure out what it is. The list is basically all foods a person can consume, so now I'm afraid to eat anything. I'm currently sitting here hoping the swelling in my face goes down, since it has migrated to my lips. Doc said that if it doesn't go down, go to the ER since that means my throat is up next. That will be a blast - the ER on a holiday. I'd probably die before I get seen. Good thing I've got the epipen!

I had one on my old phone, an early Galaxy, the mid-size-mid-grade one ("Commuter" maybe?) and it was great.

With the last round of phones that I got for the family (including teenage kids, the girl wanted something sleek and pretty, the boy wanted something black and militaristic) I bought cheap-ass Chinese cases for $2-$5 (there were domestic sellers on ebay that delivered in days instead of weeks) and it took 2-5 iterations for each of us to get something we really liked. But, even after throwing several away, the whole family was outfitted for about $20-$25 and it took about 3 weeks.

Plugs and sockets are a pet peeve of mine. Why do they put fat bulky ends on the phone cable connections when they know that most people will want it to snake through an extra few mm of casing to reach the actual socket?

This so much. Every time I want to charge my tablet, I have to take off the case since the cable doesn't fit in properly with it on. Luckily it's not an otterbox because while they're great cases, those things are horrible to try and get off.

Not being sure if I'm being ripped off or not by buying a bunch of blue Alps switches for a really good deal. The user has had previous sales and no complaints as far as I can see. Just, when I asked for a picture, I was told they didn't have a phone with a camera and their digital camera's batteries were out, which isn't the most unheard of thing ever. Part of me feels like it's legit, part of me feels like I might be getting played. I'm not sure what to think. The picture thing only came up after I snapped some pics of my process of desoldering some orange Alps for the guy, since I felt they were so generous, I was gonna throw those in too, since they mentioned preferring those over blues haha.

I told 'em to wait to ship it off until they can get batteries and snap a few pics first, but ahhhh... A whirlpool of uncertainty and too good to be true vibes! I've had generous sellers in the past here on GH and on r/MM and I haven't been scammed yet, but I dunno.

I already did. I didn't choose the tracked shipping option back then as it costed 4x more.

The postal service in my country is kinda bad as well so that might contribute as well. Hopefully it'll be here within this week.

Been two days since I've heard from the member I feel might be scamming me. Le sigh. Radio silence after I asked for pics of the goods, and hasn't ceased since; they have not been online since. I don't get it. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I'm kind of perplexed as to why someone who's had legit sales in the past and seemed pretty legit would do this. I guess when people need money, things happen. I do hope I'm just being a neurotic idiot about it.
