Confirmed, the space bar came flipped.  I thought it was supposed to be that way - it seems like the type of thing demik would do.  :))

The definition of hip (other than the joint, ha ha) is to be fashionable or popular. If Hipsters think they're bucking the trend, then they don't even know the definition of the word that they use to define themselves.

Better yet, I'll send the switches to the last person on the tour so they can use them as packing material for your HHKB.

The definition of hip (other than the joint, ha ha) is to be fashionable or popular. If Hipsters think they're bucking the trend, then they don't even know the definition of the word that they use to define themselves.

The current/popular definition of hipster was not determined or assigned by those being defined as 'hipster'.  And hipster doesn't mean those that attempt to be fashionable.  But that's a different discussion for a different place.  :P

Glad i got on when i did since it's heading to the next person before me, my father recently passed away so i've been to busy to get on untill now, working on clearing things out and moving since i was his primary caregiver. so i wanted to say skip sending it to me or maybe put me at the end of the list since it will be a week or three untill i'm finished moving. I wouldn't want to have to worry about keeping the board safe while moving or having it get lost in the mail. I wouldn't have a chance to try it before sending it to the next anyway.

Am I okay?  I have crippling anxiety when I think about these 'tourists' defiling your keyboard by flipping that bar for spacing.

That was a great review from BlueNalgene and gf :)

If people are finding it a bit light and maybe sliding around the desk, try a sheet (or two) or drawer liner underneath it.  Stops it sliding around and actually improves the thock sound :)

Also space bars should not be flipped.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Since this was pretty successful so far, I MIGHT do a limited tour of my type S. But not until this is over because I don't have another keyboard.

Got the board like 10 minutes ago and wow I think it feels way better than my Novatouch.

Its much stiffer and the thock is more organic.

The hardest part so far is this damn back space placement but so far so good.  :thumb:  :thumb:

Got the board like 10 minutes ago and wow I think it feels way better than my Novatouch.

Its much stiffer and the thock is more organic.

The hardest part so far is this damn back space placement but so far so good.  :thumb:  :thumb:

When you go back to a conventional layout you'll be all \\\\\\\\

I'm to the point where I only try to hit backspace above enter when I'm on a 60% board. Which means on the rare occasions I use my Poker now, I'm all screwed up.

These epic TL;DR threads make my eyes glaze over.

Am I dense or wouldn't it be better to have concise finite dedicated threads for things like "tours" and specific discussions?

Somewhere along the line it seemed like I was on the bus for an HHKB tour, but I have no idea how to backtrack it.
How the hell or why did you become a DEMO-crat?” He asked.
“Long story, but it started with Nixon, then I was educated and know history as the Republicans are all about getting power to exploit it to their benefit, while Democratic politicians, for the most part, are for distributing things more equitably. I’ll finish with the overwhelming sociological and psychological evidence in studies that identify that conservatives see the world through inherent inequity where the elite or those who seek to be elite are superior to the commoners, and it is they who should lead. At the same time, liberals look at the world as inequality and seek to make the world more equitable, and that all should be represented. Ultimately, conservatives trust those in authority, while liberals inherently distrust those in authority to take advantage for themselves or their constituency.”
He looks up and says, “No one ever explained that to me, and then asks, “If **** Cheney thinks that Trump is that bad, then it's not about DEMO-crats vs Republicans, is it.”
I resume walking and then say, “Hey, you got it; it's the Democratic and old Republican parties versus Trumpism, which is American fascism aided by the Russians.”
