RF finally shipping with Pbt bars? Nice

Technically no.  MassDrop is including PBT space bars to somehow circumvent contract issues with EK; or at least that is my best guess.

Hmm.. so if MassDrop would sell realforce boards with ABS bar they would get sued? Weird..
IIRC, EK is the only authorized dealer in the US.

Ah, ok, didn't knew that!

Here in the Netherlands I have to buy from shady middle mans that import them from Asia via Amazon. Only way to get that board (other then EK of course).

Thanks for the tour demik, and thanks for sending it to a bunch of strangers on the internet with questionable motives and penchants for bedazzling and flipping spacebars.

Well you half converted me, because while I don't see myself getting an HHKB I do see myself picking up a RF 55g in the future.

You think that these non keyboard people's fingers would be able to handle it?

I flipped it and I am not ashamed. I do what I want, even with someone else's property.
Although I suppose that's considered vandalism by some...?

Meh.

You converted me, demik. I plan ongetting either the black or Type-S this summer. I plan on getting both eventually, but undecided which first. Probably the Type-S as I'm curious about the silent sliders.

This is primarily the reason I'd get the black: for the blue mods and then black alphas. I hoped to win KK's Symbiosis, but I'm sure I can find that guy to do another round of the 'lectric blue.

Hmmm, I figured I would enjoy 55g because I enjoy heavier switches, but it seems like even a lot of keyboard people opt for the 45g version because of finger fatigue.  Maybe they're just a bunch of sissies.

This is exactly it. I type on 55g and actually find them a bit light at times, but only after hours and hours of typing do my hands start to ache, but I'm sure that goes for any typing for hours and hours.

45g RF is TOO light for me. If anything the constant bottoming out from it being so light hurts more than a heavier switch. Plus these nerds have weak fingers.

Yeah, that was one of my "complaints" about the HHKB, other than it being light. The light weight of the springs actually had me slamming my fingers all the time since I'm used to heavier switches, and I got tired from using those faster than 55g.

you guys are awesome. thank you for taking care of my stuff. seeing how responsible you dudes were makes me want to put it out on tour again. but it's no longer a virgin so maybe i'll put my type S in a tour sometime soon.
