Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheesburgers

I just posted the photo, I have never actually seen or eaten them.

Apparently, there is a vendor who sells them out of a trailer at state fairs in the Eastern US. They sell for $7-8 each and there is a constant half-hour line, minimum.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Sorry for FXCam pic.  Only pic I could find of it.  I love cooking fancy for my friends when I can.

Soyrizo risotto with cilantro and sour cream garnish, chile relleno stuffed with chevre and wild mushrooms from the Pacific Northwest, and white and green asparagus and nopales on a bed of fried masa with a chipotle and adobo sauce.

I know its disrespectful to Japanese people but some of the best Sushi rolls I've ever had contain lots of sweet sugary eel, lots of mayo, panko bread crumbs, and spicy tuna rolled into a FAT blunt and sliced into lockjaw sized pieces.

I would like to see one of those KK bacon cheese burgers battered and deepfried with some powdered sugar on top and some jelly to dip it in.

Throw this up there:

Prep: (Chuck eye steak, around 1/2 pound)
 - Warm up steak/bring to room temperature in warm water. This helps the steak stay flat on the pan when you flip it over so you brown the maximum surface area.
 - Wash off steak with warm water
 - Dry off steak with paper towel as much as possible
 - Season with sea salt and pepper both sides liberally. I also did garlic salt on one side
 - Rub in salt and pepper
 - Let them sit while pan heats

Cooking:
 - Add olive oil to pan on medium high heat
 - Once oil starts to smoke, add steak
 - Cook until brown, only flip the steak once. Depends on how you want it cooked. I like a warm pink center, so about 3-5 minutes depending on thickness of steak
 - Once the other side is cooked, lower heat to low medium and add a pad of butter
 - Spoon oil/butter mixture over the steak for about 1 minute
 - Remove steak from pan, pour over contents of pan onto steak (or deglaze the pan) and let the steak rest for 3-5 minutes

Enjoy!

Mash potatoes are just cooked potatoe cubes mashed with milk and butter. Corn and pepper were added because it's good!

It was delicious! We couldn't end up finishing all of it, it was just too much for two people lol. And yeah, the boat was great. It's normally something you get only if you order the "Love Boat" option on the menu, but you can special request it if you order enough sushi :)

Enjoy

As a travelling consultant, this is pretty much what my fridge looks like at home (I'm the top shelf)

Aka I eat out a lot and take photos of everything sooooo let's start with the small stuff.

Burrito bowl

San Francisco China Town

Mint Tea

San Francisco China Town again

New Orleans BBQ

Vegan

Vegan Chicken Sandwich (say what you will, but this tastes so ****ing real)

Crawfish in New Orleans, hell yes

Muffalata Sandwich in New Orleans (ps its diameter is 9 inches)

Food cart in Portland (Korean BBQ)

Moroccan Chicken Corned Beef hash thing (Portland, they've got some strange food down there, but its all AMAZING, albeit trendy)

Same place, sausage something

Any love for bloody marys?

Fish Tacos

A **** ton of sushi

16oz steak + giant baked potato (end game: I finished it)

Moar bloody marys (yes that is salami and cheese on it)

Okay so we went to a ****ty diner, in the middle of no where.  They had on the menu something called a "special pancake" and yes it had quotes around it.  Someone with us ordered it, and got this lovely surprise (ps the final version had a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the tip).  Was worth it, got a big laugh out of it.

Tapas!

Last but not least, my favorite wallpaper

Dat dong.

The vanilla ice cream on the plate slowly melted.  At the end of the meal the cook demanded that he 'slurp up' the leftovers.  Given the pancake's shape, and the fact that it was white colored ice cream, it was quite disturbing (and funny at the same time).

Oh... I feel I became hungry right after seeing the pics. lol.

BRB getting McDonalds!  :))

Those are way overpriced in the USA, you must be rich, mr. milllionaire.

Only $2.50 each from amazon with S&S and Amazon Mom

http://www.amazon.com/Myojo-Ippeichan-Yakisoba-Japanese-4-77-Ounce/dp/B0028PDFQG/

Ok. yea i know exactly how much it is.. LOL

You know how I know you're a millionaire, because you don't find $2.50 per pack of instant noodles overpriced..

They're not unaffordable.. but , yea , wanna compare that to costco boxes of top ramen?

The mayo noodles are 65 cents/ ounce

Top ramen Costco, 6 cents/ ounce

I've been forcing myself to cook new dishes lately; there are very few Asians here in the mountains, and hence very few Asian restaurants, and the ones that are here don't have any competition so the quality is lacking.  Not to mention no Thai restaurants, my favorite Asian flavor.  Can't wait to tackle some of my favorite Thai dishes!

Until then, I present you Chef WRXChris's Hoisin Chicken w/green beans!

Hoisin actually means seafood though. But anyway, looks very very delicious, lots of sesame seed too! ^^ I am an asian chef, specialized in italian/european cuisine, but always loves asian food.. they are fantastic. : )

Thought I'd post the fried chicken I had for lunch Wednesday:

Baked macaroni cheese with chicken wings? Sounds nasty to the hands, but looks delicious!

Yeah we do a homemade macaroni with out spicy fried chicken.  I love it, but it makes it hard to go back to work after.  I just want to sleep  ;D

Oh whoops, lol, I called it that because it was based on Hoisin Sauce!  I guess Chicken Stir Fry w/green beans would be more appropriate.  It has hoisin sauce, soy sauce, spicy szechwan seasoning, crushed red pepper, toasted sesame seed, sesame seed oil, sriracha sauce, and garlic.

Thank you for the compliment, it makes me especially proud to hear that from a real chef!! :P
