I don't play many computer games( I get really motion sick so a lot of games are no go) so when I do want to play something I play Heroes of Might and Magic 3 or possibly The Sims.  I used to really enjoy free cell )

A guitarist more so inclined to be playing the chord progression of a song rather picking individual notes or the forefront of the song. The lead guitarist could be playing a solo while the rhythm guitarist continues the natural progression of the song.

I just picked up GW2 again for the first time in a long while for the halloween thing that's happening now. Other than that, I play a lot of old school adventure games. I just finished up the Gabriel Knight series which had probably the best voice acting in anything ever.

All my friends picked it up on launch day so if I wanted to play with them I had to get it. Sigh.

It's fun though, I'm quite enjoying it. Even if I do die, a lot.

I resubbed to EVE but i'm having to cancel again due to money. I played a bit of Heroes III remastered which is as good as it's always been but I can't win without cheats lmao.

I am rediscovering the beauty of GTA V. Story mode right now, but I will try some more Online at peak times next week I think. Anyone up for some at like midnight PST?

the only reason anyone plays street fighter 3,  is because daigo still plays 3..  if daigo stops playing 3..

Pretty much no one is going to play 3 anymore..

But his focus is on the latest iteration of course, because that gets the bigger crowd as a pro gamer.

Do any of you guys get down to the old Sierra text-adventure/adventure games? Those are what I was raised on before HL1 took over my life... I still go back and play them every so often.

King's Quest, Police Quest, Gold Rush, Hero's Quest aka Quest for Glory, Space Quest, Manhunter, Leisure Suit Larry ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), the Gabriel Knight games...

In fact, those games are the reason I learned to type in the first place... I remember being a little kid playing the first Police Quest, typing over and over again to that hot, speeding chick to check her license, but I kept misspelling it. Good times... I love all those games.

Hahaha, yeah! Always had to sneak that one and quickly switch it off if anyone came upstairs (belonged to my older brother).

Do you remember how for some of the games you had to answer a random question to even be able to play the game? Gold Rush was like that, and some of the LSL games... It'd ask you some obscure historical question or something only found in the game manual. I always had to get my Dad to figure out the answers to the Gold Rush questions... Such existential darkness at a young age, not knowing every detail of the California Gold Rush...  )

All I wanted to play all day today was Skyrim. Yesterday I installed the Special Edition because I didn't have all my old mods in place to load my old save (like 80 hours, lv 35) without it crashing every time.

I installed a few mods and started a new game, and now every time I got to load the new save it says the save file is corrupt.

I ended up playing some Shadow of Mordor which was kinda cool, but still no Skyrim...

I checked into Trove recently to see if anything has changed. It's basically Minecraft with dungeons for kids or anyone old enough to play with Lego. I played a bunch at launch but back then the older folk were pretty damn hostile. The micro transactions are a racket and the grind is completely insane and the edition of pvp elevated e-peens, but the game itself is relaxing (with global chat turned off). ) Oi.

Picked up Hard West for 9$. Not so bad, Like a wild west XCOM Lite. I don't think I really like all the non-combat stuff. The Idea that injuries turn into a penalty and a buff is kinda neat. Definitely worth it at the low price point.
