Yes, too bad.
But it is a very ambitious game, early problems were to expected.
It does work quite well on PC though...

The master PC gaming race prevails

I wouldn't say `prevails` necessarily; the game is still a potato for anything less than a 2070.

If anything, this game is a forcing function for me to finally upgrade my gtx970

A launch failure across the board. Only a few month until people realize admit the game is ****. CDPR ****ed up, it should have never been released in this state but it was pushed out the door 100% to get it in stores for holidays so they could get their EOY bonuses. Lookup the CDPR shareholder meeting and they explain all their backhanded bull****. OH BUT CDPR IS GOG THEY CAN DO NO WRONG OOOOOOOO.

meanwhile we got Cyberpunk 27'76

What really burns my biscuit is the massive missed potential. This entire detailed world but you cannot interact with **** and there's nothing to do. Just a total waste of design.

And the UI is downright atrocious, just look at the red on red health bar, the lack of damage feedback until you are basically dead, the horrible hacking UI.

I'm sticking to my initial impression that this game is a solid 6.5

I have a 2070super with 3440x1440 and it feels like Im playing a game in 2010.  I can only get 60fps on low without RTX and with DLSS....

It's pretty fun, played for 10 hours about.  I think after I beat the main story I'm done until it's fixed (if it ever is)

And you don't think there's room for improvement by way of incremental updates?

Obviously it will, although the boatload of $$ they made now there is zero incentive for them to spend too many resources fixing it, most of those resources will go towards dlc likely. Their rep has already been damaged, the game should not have been released in it's current state.

I have a 2070super with 3440x1440 and it feels like Im playing a game in 2010.

For the real 2010 feel you can't run superwide, drop your width (but then it will probably run OK and you still wont get the real feel...)

In all seriousness, can you run superwide in, say, 2294x1440?

I can force 2560x1440.  I will try it to see if it's much better
