anyone else picked up Space Hulk? Just played a few missions, it seems alright, super slow and it really sucks that it can't at all deal with two monitors :/

Been playing War Thunder for the past few days. Free to play Ace Combat kind of historical plane shooty MMO. Really a ton of fun.

If anyone else plays let me know

Have you seen any of filtersc's From Bronze to Masters videos? I'm still slummin' in Silver but they're really helpful for core mechanics.

Last time I actually played ladder, I was mid tier silver, but most of my mechanics have gotten pretty bad.

I want A Machine for Pigs so ****ing much  :'(
I need my scare fix, there's only one legitimately scary game released about once every 2 years and that sucks. Most devs just don't seem to understand the difference between cheap thrills and real creeping, sweat on your brow, pupils dilated horror. Fractional Games understands the difference.

- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
- Super Hexagon

That's about it these days, sadly.  I'd love to have more time for Skyrim and Starcraft 2, but those titles just eat my time.

Oh yeah, and my old Intel Q6600 is hardly state of the art.  It reached 72 degrees today watching a poorly encoded online video.

After I got my Orbweaver 2 days ago I decided to play some Quake3, just some bot matches to get used to the pad.
Didn't play it for quite some time, but I quickly realized how slow and clumsy today's FPS are in comparison...

Check out Warsow, an open source Quake 3 Arena clone that's based on the Quake 2 engine which blows my mind because it looks amazing cell shaded.

Ended up turning to it rather than Q3A proper because Steam doesn't have the Mac version and many of my coworkers are Mac-only.

I tried Warsow, but I just couldn't get into it. I much prefer http://www.xonotic.org/ for my Arena-shooter needs.

Instagib plus tiny open maps and grappling hooks is absolutely hilarious

Absolutely hilarious indeed.

I played more when it was still nexuiz. Once the xonotic shift happened, there seemed to be very few people playing hook anything in my reasonable ping area. I check up on it once in a while, but i guess everyone's too busy playing COD... or raising kids, or whatever.

Almost pulled the trigger on the "new" rise of the triad...

Looking for horror games, why not poke around over at desura.com. There is quite a few horror indie games and mods there.

Speaking of desura, I came across this gem Fotonica there. Of course the art style grabbed my attention, I just love that look. It's quite fun with a very simple but challenging game play.

I'm excited, although I'm gonna be pissed if they remove the AH but keep the always-on crap. I never had much of a problem with the AH, it's always been the always online **** that's been grinding my gears.

Getting rid of the auction was a good move... now only if the implemented the ladder system back and some form of chat room/lobbies like D2 was set up

I've been playing Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield for the past two weeks. I hadn't played this game since like 2004 (played the original back in like 1999 along with Rogue Spear... yeah yeah I'm semi-old), and it made me realize why I loved these tactical shooters (and SAS) since I was so young! I think the last tactical shooter I played before this was SWAT 4, which was also pretty damn good.

I'm planning on getting Takedown Red Sabre sometime in the near future, so anyone who plans on getting it and wants to play with me, send me a PM!

I used to play the **** out of the old Tom Clancy games; Raven Shield, Rogue Spear and Ghost Recon are so fun, SWAT3 and 4 are also amazing. Was really excited when I heard about Red Sabre.
SWAT 4 is great for LAN play, I've had so much fun playing that with friends.

SWAT 4 is awesome. I think all the dedicated servers are down at this point, but you can pretty easily set up a game with Tunngle.

Mainly playing Planetside 2 and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

PM me if you play either of these (I'm on Siren for Final Fantasy) so we can squad / party up.

Now that I have a somewhat powerful PC, Planetside 2 is such a blast. A squad turns into a platoon, turns into a huge freaking battle / war over a few key territories.... It's amazing...

it's not hard... it's just too damn luck dependent...  there's really only 1 way to beat it... and it's down to something like a 50/50 odds of happening..

If you get **** load of missiles, thats 1 way

If you get fully tuned crew and upgrades for boarding party, thats 2nd way..

Nothing else works on the final boss, you'll get raped...
