Yeah, I only have a gtx670 so it's hard to play games besides L4D2 and TF2 on 3 screens at the moment so I am going to have to upgrade soon.

the funny stuff is the only thing that sets borderlands apart i feel from other FPSes..   the whole rpg element is actually just tedious

I haven't had a chance to play The Pre-Sequel yet, but I have played the first 2 games. I'm not sure if I would find them entertaining if I played through them by myself, but they are very fun co-op games and are certainly worth $60 (although I've gotten the first 2 games while they have been on sale on Steam  ). And the highlight of Borderlands is not the jokes/humorous dialog (I don't pay that much attention to it when I'm playing anyway)...what sets Borderlands apart from other FPS games is the excellent co-op gameplay and the insane weapon diversity. I guess it comes down to what kind of a game you are looking for. If you want a single player game with a great story, the I would pass on Borderlands. If you simply want a fun co-op FPS, on the other hand, then I don't think there are many options better than Borderlands.

Only gripe.. Antialiasing doesn't seem to work.


so apparently you can run the game in 4k, then downsample.. which is the equivalent of SSAA..

Rebirth is great but I had about 300 hours in Binding of Isaac so it'll take some time to get used to.

MIND BLOWN OVER AND OVER AGAIN by that game... so good... I actually aced the sheet out of this game on my first play through with no dead/lost teammates! I was so mad the sequels came out for the dumbsheet PSP, and the 3rd ones didn't even make it to the USA.... I'm considering buying it again for PC...

Just finished Wolfenstein: The new Order.

I really didn't expect it to be this good. Will do a rerun with the alternate timeline later this year. I still have Fallout: NV that I haven't finished. Though last time I couldn't really get into the game. :/

I'm sorry that you have been subjected to that broken pile of bug reports and game breaking unfinished mechanics that need to be fixed post release because Ubisoft publishers were insistant on getting the game out for a holiday release even though it clearly is not done.
