It's deceptive in the winter, the brown / yellow/ green / spots is not as good an indicator, there's some internal nana latency.
Probably because bananas are sprayed with **** to keep them from ripening as they're being shipped off from all the corners of the third world, then they're sprayed with another chemical when they arrive in the states, or another third world country like England or any place in Europe in order for them to restart ripening. They're probably doing something with the process to keep them from spoiling in the winter on their long journey that's making them taste worse. Point is buy seasonal groceries. They don't have to be shipped across the world and cost less.
